Measuring the current of a team is a simple task, but you have to do it well to avoid a short circuit.
The current measurement is carried out with the ammeter in series with the circuit, that is, the circuit is interrupted and the ammeter is interspersed by closing the circuit.
For small currents a multimeter in series is used, measuring microamperia, measuring milliamps and a few amps.
When the currents are large more than 10a and when it is not convenient to turn off the equipment under measurement an amperimetric clamp of hall effect is used, this effect is used to measure currents DC and AC of up to thousands of amps.
