Wow, another WNS original. I somehow knew Pedro was in some way twisted, immediately; but I thought he was a murderer. Good stuff. Not your best [but then, those are TRULY spectacular edifices to horror], but still very good. I think the chapter headings detract a little, tbh. "Older than Adam and more devious than Eve." Capital crimes are punishable by execution and an eternity of renovation work and bad food. Sounds eerily familiar. I've often wondered what I'd done wrong to merit some jobs.
I notice an even split in calling you Mr. Windy or Windy. I felt friendly towards you right away and opted for informality. I hope it wasnt presumptuous.
