I see absolutely no trees. What a tree-hostile city. Entire areas with zero greens. Yuck. I hope this is not considered a model elsewhere. Even the best of NYC is not that great.

@@strollingthecity I am aware of Central Park. But why are trees treated like Palestinians living in Gaza Strip? Or Africans living in apartheid South Africa? Gotta have trees, big, lush green trees everywhere, not in a secluded area 16 blocks from your home. It’s the same s#@t in Paris and Barcelona. Barely any trees. You need to see trees everywhere you go in a city, stand and sip a drink in their shade, read a book on a sidewalk bench as you hear the birds chirping, the bees buzzing, see the blossoms in the spring, watch them change colors. This is a treeless, natureless concrete dystopia. It’s like living in a nicely maintained airport washroom. Clean, yes, but ideal livable urban conditions? Nope. Far from it.
