I love that the Basic Ex Pokemon picks were The Legendary Birds, A Legendary Pokemon Cloned from a pokemon carrying all of pokemon's dna, and a little pikachu.
It's probably a game to make collectors interested in the game behind the card It's a smart strategy, tcg players will probably not really care as they already have a product but that would make non players collectors turn into players

I don’t see the point in having a mobile TCG app, and then making another mobile tcg app with slightly different cards and different rules. It doesn’t make any sense, and it only confuses people when they go to buy the real cards and they don’t exist and the rules are different. It seems silly.

Do you think people won’t play those good decks so they can win? It’s going to be just as competitive as the regular game. No matter how you play abTCG you are competing against your opponent.
We should not support digital cards. Make sure the Pokémon Company only puts money into physical cards. Before physical cards start lacking in order for them to push digital cards onto us.
Yea they just shut down PTCGO and now have PTCGL. Pocket will be a much quicker game with cards exclusive to the app. PTCGL is mostly identical to the physical card game (albeit with some glitches)

TCGL will always be the competitive version of the game, despite its bugs
ptcgL IS the competitive game. While ptcgL pocket is way more casual and with shorter games.
( Also ptcgL does not exists in japan )
