@ripclaybourne I didn't know this until I read the comments, but Tesla has autopilot and FSD. Autopilot is just meant to follow the lines while FSD is actually supposed to drive for you and take turns and stuff.
Cruise control is suppose to stay in the lane autopilot is different it makes the turns and drives to your destination but he didn’t give it a location to go to so when it was taking the wrong route he fought with the wheel to make it go a different direction so Tesla gave him the wheel. This was drivers error not Tesla. I have a Tesla and I know unless you put a location on the Tesla will just make a guess to where you want to go. If the location is placed in maps the Tesla will go there no problem
Fact check: To clear up whats happening in this video, the ‘driver’ is using Autopilot, which is a glorified adaptive cruise control that also helps keep you in the lane you engaged it in. It does *not* navigate and make turns/take exits for you. The description of the video is accurate, don’t trust autopilot to take an exit because it wasn’t programmed to do so. FSD (Full Self-Driving) is what enables you to trust your tesla in a situation like this, since it was programmed to follow directions to arrive at your desired destination. Source: I have a tesla with FSD and have tried basic Autopilot before.

its not on FSD, thats basic autopilot and Tesla is not confused. It’s gonna always select the straight path.
@Capy_Fpv Neither the autopilot nor the FSD (Full Self Driving) from Tesla is true autopilot/true Full Self Driving. Tesla still says you need to manually supervise FSD and keep your hands on the wheel.
@@Intranetusa Yes while you do need to do that, it is full self driving you need to make sure you are paying attention if you need to take over. So it could 100% drive itself to a location tesla just wants you to be safe
@Capy_Fpv No, it isn't full self driving if you need to constantly babysit the car when it is driving. If you need to watch it in case you need to take over, then it isn't remotely full self driving.
Tesla is trying to change the definition of established words and phrases like autopilot (which it isn't) and full self driving (which it isn't).
You are supposed to keep you hands on the wheel. Bumping it with your leg to fool it will bring bad results. Autopilot doesn't navigate. It goes down the road really well though.
That's because it isn't on Navigate on Autopilot or FSD Beta. It just keeps going straight.
What’s FSD beta it’s not like I make videos w that too what is it?
Yo bro, where's the rest of your steering wheel?

Driver driving at high speed
This was filmed in Deptford NJ! Thought I recognized it & played it twice & confirmed the signs.
The Owner of Tesla is himself confused in his life.
Daddy chill
Agreed
the car didn’t almost crash….you almost crashed it by taking the wheel.
The car was on a path that is mapped out and you can clearly see. It may have mapped a different course.

@@TrackSlayers I was actually joking it's great all around car 4 seats lot of space in rear hood Quicker than a Chiron more range than any petrol car you have to fill up at every location
Only if brakes were good I will buy my own Plaid
Brakes are pretty bad in this
Hope Tesla ships with carbon ceramics next times
Or better steel brakes that can stop the car really well
@@Smzxehaha all good! Yo honestly if brakes are the deal breaker - don’t let it stop you, I push the car hard and out of the 15k miles I have on my plaid since January, the first week I received the car I had one close call. It’s not so much the brakes as it is the power 😂 but you get used to it and learn when and where to use it. It’s so much different from all my other cars
@@Smzxe Breakes are perfectly fine. More then fine infact.
ah the not full self driving, full self driving.
hahaha
@@TrackSlayers haha putting peoples lives at risk
I’m laughing because you don’t know what autopilot is 😂
@@bumbookie tesla autopilot is free but tesla full self driving or fsd isn't free but it's better
This is autopilot not fsd. Fsd (full self driving) is a different product you have to pay

this “LGBT” car is faster, more expensive and stronger than anything you’ve ever owned…
@@pixelic409 You do realize the most expansive tesla is only 107k right? While the most expansive gas powered car is 30 million. Plus with combustion cars you can modify them for more speed or make them stronger. Hell a bugatti La Voiture Noire costs18.7 million and it's top speed is 260mph while the fastest tesla is only 200mph. Big difference there. Sure tesla's have better acceleration but when it comes to speed they fall behind. Face it. Most of these planet friendly cars are nothing more than overpriced rc cars.
@@Telegenicjam303 the Tesla is limited to 200 mph electronically, it can do more, Tesla just doesn’t allow you to.
That’s how I drive 😂
The fact people trust a computer driving them around is absurd
You haven't tried autopilot. I have one, and love it. TrackSlayers was using it incorrectly, he wanted it to go left when it was going straight. However if he had FSD(Full Self Driving) he would not have needed to be worried.
@@Thor4MayorLol, dream on. Teslas autopilot is a suicide program. Caused so many deaths already. I am surprised Elon is not in jail. To call it Full Self Driving is a scam. Glorified cruise control at best

He was touching it with his legs 😂😂😂😂
Keep you hands on the wheel I cannot stress this enough your supposed to be ready Incase a mistake happens but people like this don’t follow instructions which is why there 30k Tesla is crashed be cause of a problem with auto pilot that could have been prevented. Please stay safe Tesla owners❤
How about just drive the fcking car
The guy is doing it perfectly. You don t need to have the hands on the steering wheel at all times. Hands close to the wheen and ready to take over is the requirement

The same autopilot can also save your life when someone is going to crash into your Tesla.
Technology is gonna get better trust
This is how its supposed to be used. The user should be able to control incase of a problem.
Nothing can give you the joy of driving your car with your hands on steering
That is literally the same thing a human would do trying to navigate into nyc for the first time.
Bro calmly said "the heck" as if it wasn't directly steering into a sign
it wasn't steering into a sign, he overrode it and steered towards the sign attempting to change lanes late. he is using autopilot, not FSD.
"cruise control version 2.0"
Nahh, is normal when you have tesla 😊
Good comment by the lady, "It is definitely not going left".
Duh
According to SAE classification Tesla's autopilot is certified as Level 2. It means that it requires constant monitoring with immediate driver intervention. Potentially without any warning from the system. These factors make Level 2 autopilot even more challenging for safe driving than no autopilot at all. Because it's like being a driving instructor while a student without a license is driving the car. And it's visible on accidents statistics. Some insurance companies already gathered enough data and according to the published stats currently accidents rate for Tesla cars is significantly higher than average. People trust the autopilot too much and I partially blame marketing for it
