I do not know English, I studied another foreign language at school, but I understand Sheridan's language, this video is so nice to watch and see how the master makes these drawings...and I understand that...thank you very much...I'm from Russia
I wish I'd known about that undershot tool when I was working on some intricate patterned guitar straps!! Would have saved me a ton of time (I HATE beveling haha!). I'll definitely be picking one up. Denny is absolutely amazing and I've learned so much from him. The most recent strap I'm working on is using the "classic" strap kit and I used Denny's included pattern for this one (I added my own design in that middle section where the "figure-8" is). I'd love to show it to Denny some day to see what he thinks! Thank you all for doing these. Hope to catch the next one live. Happy holidays to everyone at Springfield!
If your going to look into undercuts. Also look into some crowners. You can knock out flowers with those scallops really fast. Get a small and a large. I have Barry Kings. I love them
Question, i never can seem to figure out, when you bevel your stems, do you bevel your long lines first or your short lines? I have a habit of "squishing " down a line.. Thanks for doin a more intermediate tooling video, all i can find are beginners videos. Would like to see more videos geared towards those of us that are passed the beginners stage and would like a little more advanced techniques. Thanks, Ray
We might end up doing two projects at this level and then move into more advanced techniques after that. Glad you enjoyed it and we will make sure to go over that question for you.
