- Daryl Davis is a blues musician and author of “Klan-destine Relationships: A Black Man's Odyssey in the Ku Klux Klan." The book chronicles his experience working to improve race relations by seeking out and befriending members of the Ku Klux Klan, several of whom he convinced to leave the organization.
He was among the panelists who joined "Political Party" host Keli Goff to talk about how Barack Obama's historic presidency has impacted our national conversations on race, justice and inequality.
Also on the panel were journalist Jonathan Alter, CNN's Don Lemon and Republican political strategist Ron Christie.

All you need is patience. Violence was always a quick way to end conflicts but the aftermath was always bitter. Taking the time to understand, or to help others understand with just your words can have a lasting impact.

Everyone claims to like him yet I am still the only person on the entire internet who tries getting people in voice chat to resolve a dispute in this way. Everyone runs.
