I don't think it's a game changer. I know it's been around for awhile. I don't use it. I'm a landscape photographer and I also do portraits. I don't like it because my brain doesn't like it and I don't find that I need to the auto focus on the new cameras is so good that I don't feel like I need to use it
Sorry for the thumbnail, I don’t belive it’s a matter of one thing beeing right or wrong , just a matter of personal taste, I prefer the back button, but I have seen your photos on IG and they are great , so whatever you do clearly works for you, but I think beginners might benefit from trying it and making up their own mind if they like it or not
@@AreOle_photography yeah that I do agree with actually and it's something a few of my students that I do teach locally I teach what I call community based Photography and I've shown it to a few people. I think it's just my brain. It doesn't equate where my finger sits. I also use a GFX camera which is relatively slow focusing anyway so it kinda isn't really beneficial but thanks for your video man. I like your channel.
Thanks man I’m glad to hear that, I’m new to this space so I have a lot to learn about teaching. How do you find the GFX system? / how is to work with the big files?
@@AreOle_photography it's not too bad. I have a MacBook Pro 16 GB of RAM M1 chip and it handles it okay? It's a little bit slow with stacking ... but I don't stack too much. It's a great camera. I cannot fold it really.
This man is staring into my soul
Haha, I forget to blink when I’m doing these videos inside, anyways thanks for watching and have a great day
I never thought about using the back button focus but after watching this video, I feel like I should give it a try. Thanks for sharing AreOle!
I realy like it, it takes a little getting used to but I feel like it gives more control , let me know how it goes.
Have a great day☕️📸
@AreOle_photography Thanks! you too!
Fin film Are Ole. Ønsker deg en fin ettermiddag 😊
Tusen takk, ha en fin ettermiddag🍂☕️
