Forgot to mention about arbitration! Their decision in binding everywhere in the world! Court divisions may not be binding in other countries

Arbitration is binding on both parties and Mediation can enter into a binding contract if both parties choose

I have a question about Arbitration. Can we write this sentence in contract ," In case of any dispute between parties, CEO of Government Department will be the sole arbitrator whose decision shall be binding. The Arbitration proceedings shall not be challenged in any court of law with Pakistan". My question is typically related to Government Department who gets the construction project done through contractors. Best regards.

Hello Amjad, unfortunately we cannot give a definitive answer as we do not have any knowledge of the laws within Pakistan. However, in theory, you could include that clause within a contract but it does not necessarily mean a contractor would agree to it and may dispute the clause before signing any contract.

Strongly feel that negotiation between the parties should have been first.

Hi, thanks for your comment! We understand what you mean, negotiation should always be attempted first before any formal legal proceedings. This video wanted to highlight the formal dispute resolution methods when negotiations come to a stand still
