In this video I am going to show you the Chennai airport lounge of Domestic Terminal 1.
I will be showing what credit/debit cards that are accepted , Also the menu of the food in the lounge I visited. Most of you would already know that you can eat for free, in Airport lounges during any travel.there is a Lounge in domestic Terminal 1 in chennai. The various cards credit and debit card which will be accepted here in this loungue and how much they charge. I am gonna use my hdfc priority pass which is used in international and domestic loungues.Citi debit card, icici visa debit and hdfc gold regalia card worked. There was good food south indian pongal , idly , medhu vada, coffee drinks and sleeping places available in the lounge to enjoy. Chennai Airport Lounge Access | Cards That Work Domestic Airport Loungue. How much to pay if you dont have a card. This is the place to relax and wait for your flight. At a few lounges they will be having sleeping pods too. Offcourse all loungues will have wifi and a charging point, so you avail all these ameneties. Try to get priority pass/ Diners club card. it works almost everywhere. Also the corporate cards/amex cards. how much you have to pay if you dont have a card that doesnt work in an airport loungue. Any idea about AXIS BANK DEBIT CARD??
Its a DEBIT card and not a CREDIT card so will it work there??
I think we did not have that card to try, but mostly debit cards don't work in domestic lounges these days, but its okay to always try it, no harm..
can we enter card details , lets suppose i forgot the card at home , can i access by manually typing card number ?
with what I have seen they have always put the cards in the machine. I will try this method next time to see if it works and let you know
Hello just wanted to know if I can access the lounge if I arrive at the airport and want to wait for someone coming few hours later?
Lounges are accessible only after the baggage checks, so if you are travelling you can wait there even all day long until the person arrives

Wht abt kids? Aged 6 n 4 . How much they charge ?
I took kid age 5 with my priority pass for free. They won’t generally charge but I would suggest to apply n get an add on card that comes with your credit card
We can use our friends card?
Yes . we all used each others card only

No they will check the boarding pass name tallys with card name only cardholder can have access
They didn’t check in this lounge but in other lounges they do check

Any chance they accept UK debit cards ?
You can always swipe there and check. No harm in checking. They will let you know if it works or not
If you use priority pass of hdfc other than infinia you would be charged 27 usd. So you just saved yourself 27 usd 😂
Assuming you are using regalia gold
I have used the normal hdfc priority pass in Muscat airport without any charges , on top of that I took two people in the same card. I was not charged. Just that it didnt work in the domestic airport. will try in other lounges and make videos on my channel
@@azharsassy I forgot to mention within India. If you use priority pass of hdfc bank other than infinia you would be charged 27usd. I am using hdfc cards from a decade and that's how it is. You can go and check hdfc regalia lounge terms and conditions.
And outside India it is shared only to add on card members. For guest again it's paid. By the way when did you swipe. If you do anything beyond what I said you will get bill after 1 month. Hope that helps
Dreaming to get infinia credit card. Yes I didn’t get charged for the 2 people I took along internationally, you can try once taking someone along with priority pass. But with priority pass I didn’t get a receipt after swiping but with regalia gold I got a receipt.
@@azharsassy everyone's dream to get infinia but recently they brought lots of restrictions. My father has regalia and we have add on priority pass. So we can swipe separately. Might be rules are different for regalia gold. But don't swipe within India with your priority pass.
FYI taken this from regalia gold terms and conditions "If you use your Priority Pass for lounge access within India, you will be charged at US $27 + GST per visit "
For guest also you would be charged. They will bill after few months.
