I’ve just finished putting together my very first reading journal and after watching this I want to change it straight away! Mine is a square dot grid with black paper because I saw a few other people here on youtube doing that type and I really liked them. BUT I’m now finding it rather overwhelming (especially for a first one) and I think that the traveller’s size would be all I’ll need and also more manageable. Idk why but I just added what everyone else seemed to have in theirs and I already know that I won’t want to do A-Z’s and Book Bingo etc, so those sections will go unused. Live and learn I suppose. I do know that I absolutely LOVE your version of a reading journal and I’m so glad the algorithm brought you my way. I’m off to watch more of your other video’s for more inspiration and then on to do a travellers notebook version. Thank you. ☺️👍🏻💛💐
I grew up with the German fairytale versions, not the Disney ones, which means the villains cruelly dying was pretty normal. Mynfavorite one was The Goose Girl if you're looking for inspiration.
I don't know of you take recommendations, but one of my favourite fairytale of the brothers grim that isn't really well known I believe is "The fisherman and his wife".
I love your voice so much, hearing you read the stories will be a joy! ❤
Love the idea of recording the first lines of everything you read! Love the whole fairy tale plan, too!

I am super excited to read along...and to be keeping my first reading journal.

Interestingly, the version you included in your description box has her named Rosamond, not Briar Rose.
