WOW! Thank you so so much! Your show truly meant the world to me as a kid. Being a Black kid from North Carolina myself, having a show set in NC with a young Black lead was just mind-blowing to me! I feel so fortunate to have grown up with this show, and I know that many others feel the same. I’m SO glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for watching, and thank you for giving us this wonderful show, Mr. Hyman!

The service gets shelled, leasing McGuire and I'm Montana even Stevens those shows are pretty good, loved them, but, the famous jet Jackson stood above them all! Because jet Jackson was real. It was just about a gunman being him.

I wrote Heroes and did win some awards for that about Gun safety etc. it was truly a one of a kind show and people still bring that up as their childhood favorite. Thanks again. Bruce Kalish

Oh this warms my heart. The Nostalgia from Classic Disney/Nick shows is heavy. I remember being a kid and just loved watching these shows. It was a much easier simpler time. Wake up in the morning watch PB&J Otter, watch, have a bowl of waffle crisp and enjoy cartoons. Arthur was a favorite of mine after school along with Spiderman. Man those were the days.

I had no idea how many important and sensitive issues were on this show. It's nice to hear back then how inclusion and diversity were important. I hope the series gets it's time to shine once again. RIP to Lee Thompson Young :,(

Oh My God!!! :O Man, That's Quality TV! I've heard about the show by mention when I got into So Weird, the record episodes I watched had the announcer in the credits promoting the show. Didn't think much of it at the time but after seeing this video, I just might want to go and check it out. It's nice to know Disney had a bit more diversity with their programming back in the 90's and early 2000's. Shame they don't do it as much anymore but recent shows like Andi Mack are a step in the right direction. That show covered heavy topics too but also had a great mix of solid writing, well timed humor and great cast of actors. I hope there will be more shows like that in the future to mix things up.
Awesome Video by the way, I love behind the scenes videos like this that look into. Looking forward to what your channel has to offer. Saw your post on the So Weird Boards about making a So Weird behind the scenes like this, Really looking forward to it. :) Best of luck with your channel. ;)

@@BehindTheMagic Yeah, it is so sad when the good seems to die young. But he really made an impact. I remember I had the biggest crush on him and not just because of his looks. He was smart and funny. I was struggling with depression in the 12th grade and I was seriously thinking about dropping out of school. My sister asked me if I think Lee would want his girlfriend to drop out of school. She was like, how are you gonna explain that to him when you meet him. And that is what did it for me. It may not have been the best reason to stay in school, and I have learned so much since then. But I can say that if it wasn't for Lee, I may not have the Masters Degree that I have now.

The rights weren’t exactly sold. Alliance Atlantis produced the show for Disney, and AA was sparsed in many different companies. WildBrain is the one for Children and Family Entertainment. It was probably licensed for a certain period and not many people cared about it anymore. (Not the fans though). I’m still hopeful we might get to see a re-release if the show. It’s such a feel good show and brings back my positive energy whenever I watch a couple episodes. Shawn Levy who directed many episodes went on to do gigantic shows like Stranger Things. I’ve said that somewhere else on RUclips, but I feel like that quality he brought is also one of the reasons I still love to watch it to this day.
