Great garden tour! so happy to see young people growing food. I'm 64 yrs old and also from WI. I've gardened most of my life and find it more difficult in the last few years to grow peppers. I'm thinking it's because of the weather, I know peppers don't like the cooler weather and we had some very cool nights here in early June. Keep up the good work your garden is coming along very nice. I'll look forward to see your garden grows, and yes we are praying for rain, only a little over 1" in the last 6 weeks in my area, southern WI.

We had cooler nights here in June as well, that could maybe be the problem. Yeah we definitely could use some more rain. Thank you for watching!

Hi Al, I grow 2 different kinds of sweet peppers. Ajvarski red pepper and California Green Wonder pepper. I live in zone 5 but have to buy for zone 4 for it to survive. I got these through Baker Creek. They're heirloom so I save my seeds. They're very prolific and don't stop producing. The Ajvarski are my favorites. Still eating them from the freezer!

Awesome. I am zone 4 so wonder if it just isn't warm enough?

@@AlsHomesteadwe start ours inside under lights on a heating pad. Then transplant out in our garden. They're about 8 or 9" now. They need a lot of warmth to germinate and grow!

Yeah we get ours from our local garden center.
