@@striderwhiston9897 Cats are fuzzy reptiles. They can't feel joy, love or compassion. They are creatures that feed on darkness and the despair of the human soul.
I've work in hospice for over 6 years. The body definitely emits an oder before deaf usually few hours sometimes days when a patient is terminally. I can smell it some times. My colleague never take me seriously when I express that.
Yes, stay tune to it pay attention your in the right place to comfort the dying the body shuting down body is retaining chemials/ chemical make up changing breaking down etc never smelled it not sure if I would want that gift and burden, God bless.🤗🥰
I would agree. I have worked with youngsters and in a palliative care environment. I smell a sweet smell rather similar to lilies. Within two hours that person has died, sometimes even when they weren’t expected to live. I wonder if it is something to do with the souls beginning to move away from the body….perhaps it’s animals can sense the paranormal….?
That’s spooky as there have been only two occasions that my cat insisted on lying on me. On both occasions l was very ill, an abscess on colon and Gall bladder issues, both leaving me needing to call an ambulance and fighting for life. How weird eh?
I can't wait for a cat to lay on my chest and tell me I'm going to die, like how am I even supposed to respond to that? Do I just meow like the roles have changed or would that be awkward?
My cat wakes me up when I'm about to get a migraine. I take medicine and I'm fine. The days I ignore his alert, I get the migraine which lasts days. He doesn't wake me unless I'm getting a migraine. I have 3 cats and he's the only one with the gift. He's amazing!
I’ve been sad for a while and everytime I just lay in my bed at night being sad and I can’t sleep my cat that I rescued (he was the baby of his litter) will come up to me rub his head on my face and head then cuddle up with me. Everytime I go to sleep and have a nightmare that freaks me out badly that I wake up in cold sweat and fear both my cats are with me next to me comforting me. And once my cat woke me up when I slept in and was about to be late. Cats are very smart believe me (One knows how to open doors the other knows how to open cabinets). I am very thankful for my cats. I actually haven’t had a really bad creepy dream in a long time because everytime I start to fall asleep and have a bad dream my cats wake me up. Sure it gets a little annoying when they wake me up when I’m super tired, but I rather that then having bad dreams alot

"cats aren't pack animals" they're extremely social creatures though, they're not the badass loners that people think they are. They still protect sick members of a colony if they can.
In an abusive marriage right before my abuser is getting ready to strike my cat would perch herself on the dresser and promptly jumped on his back. One time he didn't have a shirt on that was so chivalrous. I miss her terribly she lived to be 21. She also led me out of that abusive marriage kind of sorta. Animals are amazing we have no clue what they know
Yeah but cats aren't really scavengers..they're predators. I've heard the explanation that when you are about to die the body have an increased temperature and the cat likes that... but dont really know if it holds up.
@@cherryice4603 all animals eat food if they stumple upon it. Its their food seeking behaviour that we classify them by. Dogs who are scavengers go around and use their sense of smell to find food. Cats on the other hand can se uv light that rodents have left on their trails and then they will hide nearby and dont move ùntil an animal arrives. Or they see a birdsnest where birds cry in.. knowing parents will show up they will do the same thing. Cats are actually quite careful about not eating old food bcoz they might get poisoned.
@@kungfreddie Yes, they are careful I won't disagree with you there. But they still do scavenge (though as you say they are much more careful about it)
i can only imagine those phone calls nurse: he doesn't have much time left... family member: oh no, have his symptoms worsened? nurse: nah our cat just knows
I took care of a cat one summer. He and I really got along from the moment that we met. This cat could sense when I was upset and he would just show up from elsewhere in the house and come to comfort me. I still miss him... 💖💖💖
Infographics forgot 1 important detail about domestic cats. They may hunt solitarily but they do in fact, gather in groups. Look at feral cat colonies or even just how cats behave in a household. If they were 100% solitary, they wouldn't occasionally seek cuddles and face rubs from us or get along nearly as much in a multi-cat household.
One of my cat actually brings a half dead bug to me to finish off like we are a team. I don't enjoy it, but that's how she operates. She also lays on my chest and purrs when I'm feeling deep sadness to pour love and healing into my heart. Its been proven that purring aids them in remedying ailments in themselves as well. Cat are very social and empathetic.
I can actually say that this is definitely true about cats,I’ve had 2 cats when I was little. My grandmother was constantly going to the hospital, both cats would act normal like nothing. So one day, coming home from school, and mom said your grandmother had to go in the hospital today, the ambulance came to the house to pick her up. Then she said the craziest thing happened when they came here, they was taking your grandmother off the bed but before they did that both of the cats jumped on her bed and was meowing like crazy. she said while they were lifting her up to put her on the stretcher the cats would not get down off the bed. She had to put them in the bathroom. They were trying to get out of the bathroom. I said to myself that’s weird cause they’ve never done anything like that before, she went into the hospital on Monday,Saturday morning she passed. So they knew something was wrong. This is why is say cats or dogs will let you know when something isn’t right. I’m definitely a cat lover. So believe it if a cat is trying to tell you something. R.I.P. grandma Miss you and love you xoxoxo.
whenever I'm about to be sad or cry- my cat always comes close to me and follows me everywhere and starts meowing- whAt (this sometimes happens and I just realised)
From my own experience, I believe most well-loved animals can sense your emotions. I have a horse whom I love dearly and with whom I spend a great deal of time, and in times of deep sadness, he has come up to me and made sure I had lots of time with him until I felt better. Then he would walk off and start looking for food.
I know cats can sense when people are sad because whenever I am sad as long as my door is open my cat Gracie comes to me, I know it's not just her coming to me because she is shy. She is super sweet, I even used a translator on her when she came in and it said that she said "Why are you sad?" She is just adorable.
@@stevenalen7004 Yes and No. This memento mori is based primarily on its latin origin of "Remember Death" as the Romans used it. It was said that when a Roman General was paraded through the streets after some ceremony or successful campaign, the citizens would lauded him. However at his side stood a simple servant, whose job it was to repeat "Memento mori" constantly. Reminding the General that despite all this love, wealth, and praise one day he too shall die and have nothing. It was a humble reminder to the hubris of leaders with one of the truest axioms, that with life also comes death. Which Mac Miller referenced in Self-Care as well, but its origins are Roman by nature.
It's crazy and amazing the things animals can pick up on. I absolutely believe they know when there's something wrong with us, physically and emotionally. One of my dad's friends passed away last year or the year before and he took it pretty hard. For several days to at least a week after that, our cat went in his bedroom with him every single night when he went to bed and hung out on the dresser next to his bed. Like she knew he grieving and was keeping an eye on him.
My late dog saved my life by doing this, my kidneys failed and everything else was but he woke me up from a deep sleep in time for an ambulance to be called. I passed out in the ambulance and when I woke up later in the day at the hospital the doctor said they almost lost me and if I got there 15 minutes later I'd be dead.
You are so right. If energy is pure and we do not disrupt it or close it off, ignore it, disrespect it by letting our ego and fearful negative thoughts get in the way, energy will come to us. We like to think that we humans know it all and that we are above nature but we we have barely scratched the surface of what is available and waiting to be learned.
I read about Oscar in a magazine several years ago. Glad you made this video. I have a cat named Felix that wakes me up in the middle of the night when my blood glucose bottoms out. He has saved my life several times. I don't know how he does it but I'm grateful that he does! 😼
One of my uncle who die last year said the same thing before he die. While on hospital bed, he murmured "Go play outside" and his wife asked him what did he meant by that and he say there were two children playing near his bed
wth? My great grandma also said something about kids playing but I know she died after a few years. But wow, they really see those children playing. Who are those kids..?
101Bancho my great grandma last early this year and she was speaking of Teo little girls playing as well months before her passing. That’s crazy how that works.
I personally feel that when someone is actively dying, they do emit a certain kind of smell. Even on their breath. But again, that’s when they’re actively passing.
When I was about to get my gall bladder removed 6 years ago, my family said that our dog(see ya later), specifically, the one very close to me, lost her appetite and was not her usual self until i got back home.
Happy Friday the 13th!

"cats aren't pack animals" they're extremely social creatures though, they're not the badass loners that people think they are. They still protect sick members of a colony if they can.
Maybe but i watched a yt video, the female cat is pregnant and they let the female cat eat first.
Cats aren't as social as dogs, but they are social. They're semi-social
a cat doesn t have a colony. they live on a group of 3 at max
Cats can be affectionate, loyal companions if you get to know them.

Maybe it have the predatory instinct like scavengers know when some animals die so they can eat them, i don't know, maybe
Yeah but cats aren't really scavengers..they're predators. I've heard the explanation that when you are about to die the body have an increased temperature and the cat likes that... but dont really know if it holds up.
Talk about being a scientist ( really i appreciate you for the info)
@@kungfreddie Cats are both predators and scavengers. Basically they are opportunistic.

Then he would walk off and start looking for food.
I know cats can sense when people are sad because whenever I am sad as long as my door is open my cat Gracie comes to me, I know it's not just her coming to me because she is shy.
If I get a cat, I'm calling it, "Reaper."
It's crazy and amazing the things animals can pick up on. I absolutely believe they know when there's something wrong with us, physically and emotionally.
