    Ha ha made me laugh when you said Think I will jump on the swing and wake them all up!.
    Pity you didn’t discover the swing prior to setting up-think I would have had to move.
    Congratulations to Will what a lovely lad,finished a long physical week then did the cooking!!!.
    All the best.

      Hi Carol, we did notice the swings before setting up but underestimated the noise that can come out of 8 to 10 year olds :) Our William insisted on cooking, as he enjoys doing it. Thanks for the well wishes and to you too.

      Hi Robert, yes pure luxury but better with good warm weather. If we camp we then appreciate the Eriba more later.

    New to your channel, loving the vlogs x Just an observation I would get an awning,gazebo, tarp or something for your cooking area,As you know weather tuns in seconds and putting everything back in tailgate is very cramped and a faff each time it rains,esp if its in for the day or in middle of cooking.People must have improvised on this set up, maybe ideas on line or YT x

      Hi, yes we do have a tarp but not used it yet. We can cook in the tent with the shelter open. For camping like this we will book at the last minute and only do when the weather is good. For other times we will be using the Eriba as shown on the other videos. Thanks for subscribing and hope you enjoy the videos to come.

    Great vlog again Gary. I do love the view from above. Is your drone a DJI Mavic 2? Also when you use the car do you just leave the tent in place and re connect on return?

    • @whereveraway
      @whereveraway  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks Mark. The drone is the smaller DJI Mini 2 and under 250g which allows for more flexibility in the law. Yes, the tent zips up and on return we unzip and reattach the car.

      Thanks Gary, really made me want to think about getting a drone, do I need an operator number or any sort of license? Oh and as much as I admire your camping,I’ll be sticking with the Eriba 😂

      Hi Mark, so for the drone you go to the Civil Aviation Authority which is linked to the Govt website. We will be sticking with the Eriba too and we will be away in it in just 2 days time. For the

    Did you find a more comfortable way to make up the bed in the jeep than the first night you tried it?

    • @whereveraway
      @whereveraway  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Tom, yes we put the boot floor mat over the small gap between the boot and the rear seats. We also used proper bedding too.

    your mic is naf , can't hear you very well.

      Hi Stefan, sometimes the wind makes the sound hard to hear. I could buy a mic cover to help shield out the wind, but in the main it's not needed. I think you need to check your volume or the device if the issue is consistent because it plays back okay for us.

    Looks a good site. Will Defo try that out. Nice one. Plus not that far from home.

      Thanks Philip. The facilities are quite sparse for the size of the site and theres only 2 showers for 100s of people, but its fine for 2 nights.
