I am a sprinter but sometimes run with the long distance guys. We once did all kinds of drills in a 400m lap, and they went pretty much full speed on those drills, hopping bounding etc, and i noticed that they were kind of same speed as me in most drills except the straight leg bounce drill. My speed was double. I think it is a good drill to select wether you can sprint or not, and likely a good drill to develop your sprinting abilities. The other drills don't do much, only confuse you, or make you a good long distance runner :-D
Hey can someone help me here So i am 14 an i am really tall for my age and I have long legs but my 50 m dash is 8 seconds while my friends with shorter legs can run 7 seconds every thought i was fast but i am actually slow so can someone give advice to help improve my speed
@@TheWayToWin I’m 6ft6 with extremely long legs 🦵 I started high jumping in school and figured out I was naturally good at it! Around that time 🕰️ and even now I was always afraid to try all running events. Fear of judgement and failure I think I have potential in the 400m event because of my build. Steven Gardiner inspires me and I understand how hard the training can be to run the 400m. I think 400m is more attractive to me right now in comparison to high jump or any other event 👍

They got bolt doing that drill.... I noticed in his races, he is the fastest to getting knee up and down. That was his basic motion.
How can we achieve enormous spring force in our ankles ?
Is it more effective of done slower or faster?
from slowest to fastest
practice how you want to perform. get the motor skills then speed it up and strengthen it.

get a sprint coach and start training
run further than 50m. Long legs start having advantage after 60 meter
