You can also get hearts by battling the team leaders Candela, Blanche, or Spark. You dont have to complete the battle, just make sure your buddy is in your party, begin the battle, run, and you'll get the hearts. Super easy. 🙂
Man you had such better luck than me. I did 2 hours with an incense, the entire catch mastery research, and another hour and a half all in parks and downtowns before I finally got a shiny cryogonal off a field research and no wild spawn shinies all day. Good progress towards level 46 I guess XD
The nice thing about having 2 copies of that timed research was steps 2-5 or 6 could just be done catching cryogonal back and forth on each research. I also never had to leave my house because I have like 30 spawns points at my house.
You can get 6 hearts with a poffin if you battle a trainer. You don’t have to do the whole battle. Just make sure your buddy is the first Mon and he gets one hit. Leave battle after and repeat 2 more times and that’s 6 hearts
@@connorhalliday7304 it’s practically the same thing I said lol. Only difference is you’re saying he doesn’t have to use the pokemon… when you train against a trainer( spark,candela,Blanche) your pokemon is fully healed after each battle.

Blade Runner 2049 is such a head scratcher when the Pelicans retro colours were teal and and yellow/orange, in closer shades to cryogonal than br2049 lol
I got 3 Shiny Cryogonals and a Hundo this event. So I was pretty satisfied. Shiny Cryogonal is pretty neat. Never used one on a team (main games) before.

I opened up 200 researches over the course of the day and the best I could find was a 98. No shiny. No hundo. Only shiny I found was 2 bergmite and that was it. Out for 6 of the 10 hours.
Pretty nice event, only completed the limited timed research because i had time at the end of the day. Actually wanted the yellow snow but got a blue sherpa and two very blue snowflakes. I was actuality surprised i got any shinys. I was not playing to get them, just had pizza and a fatty breakfast so i wanted to burn off some of the cals and this was a good enough reason to get off my butt.
i remeber my sister and i where doing that event together with a friend and she opned maybe two encounters and got a shiny immediatly i went through maybe like 20 before i got one
I had a good time with this event hatched me a shiny togepi from a 2km egg got a shiny 98% crygonal shortly after I know they where boosted but got a female shiny snorunt then lastly had two remote raid passes from saving my coins from my pokemon in gyms and then on my first raid with zekrom being back I get the shiny.. that's now my 5th shiny zekrom I'm not complaining just crazy to me that happened on my first raid.
I wish I was there. I realized too late (after a nap) that it was the event yesterday. I had an hour and 15 minutes to complete it. I live in Canada, and (while we've had a very very mild winter so far, only snowing 3 days ago) it was very cold here yesterday. The sun had already gone down and my fingers were chilled to the bone. I had to stop and wait inside a local hotel that is a hotspot for pokemon just to warm up my fingers, until i had cleaned the area out and had to go back out in the cold. I only got to 8/10 very sad and disappointed. It feels like an ice-knife twisting watching you play in the sun and warm, with lots of time to spare lol I didnt get a single Shiny :(

Didn’t get a shiny one out of 70. It feels really odd since I got 3 shiny Hitmontop during the other Catch Mastery event after only an hour.

Don't even have to do that just has to be in the team battle a team leader and quit immediately, no damage taken anywhere

Your buddy doesn’t even have to start. I always set it as the last pokemon when I battle grunts and it works
