Israel, in terms of area, travelling time and population reminds me very much of my country, which is Portugal. Israel looks such an amazing country to visit full of history.
I'm an American Jew living in Florida, USA and thinking of an extended stay in Israel (prob Tel-Aviv) in March 2025 for at least a month. I figure it's about time to visit Israel and I can basically spend my last semester living there full time.
Very informative, as always. I'm reminding myself (upcoming trip this winter) - "watch out for pickpockets at the Mount of Olives" "don't let anyone tie a red thread on your arm" "don't touch anything you don't want to buy" and the all-important "get a menu and verify the price!"
Ancient jews weren't white Europeans !!! Current Palestinians are descendants of the ancient jews . Its true the vast majority of them are muslim now . By the logic of what this fool is saying tomorrow srilankan and malaysian muslims could claim rights to mecca or Christians from angola can claim rome for themselves. Palestine belongs to Palestinian jews Christians and muslims period.. and not white European ashkenazi jews.....
My last two trips, pre-Covid, I was in Jerusalem for Purim, or rather Shushan Purim. The first time the weather was cold and rainy, so not much was going on in the city. So I had to make my next trip over Purim since I got cheated the first time. The second time the weather was great, and after the morning Magilla reading I had breakfast with and spent the day with my niece.
@@MFPhoto1 yes, it was pouring for 2 days straight and the temperature barely touched above 10 degrees. There were days below 5 degrees. However i enjoyed it.
I did a solo trip in 2011 and had a great time. Mostly did the south and Jerusalem. Spent a few days in Tel Aviv. Would go back to see the north but not right now.
Isreal is still on my list of places, where I want to go. I like to travel solo, because it makes me more mobile and I'm not stuck to a strict itinerary. I found a capsule hotel that looks decent.
Something I discovered was that Israel is a similar price to the uk, however coffee is a completely different issue. I’ve never been able to drink coffee without sugar. But oh my, Israeli coffee is incredible and well worth 16shekels for a large upside down. I think I’ve found my inner Israeli, between driving. Coffee, hummus and organisations like save a child’s heart, I’m home. Todah. Am yisroel chai. Aliyah is definitely coming soon.
I love your blog, and once things settle down in, we would consider a trip to Isreal. We would definitely want to have you provide tours. My wife and I found your website as a result of recent events and found your perspective to be enlightening. Thank you for sharing publicly. You have clarified many details regarding the Palestinian and Jewish issues. Many thanks,
Thanks Oren for another perfect video. Every time I watch your videos brings the memories of what I saw during my trip to Israel in 2019 and urges me to buy a ticket immediately and go to see the gorgeous Negev desert again.👍
I love to watch videos of Israel. It is like being there. I may never actually get to go there until Christ returns, but I sure enjoy seeing the cities, markets, and people. I am Hebrew on my dad's side of the family, and it is so great to see women with the long, thick curly hair that I also have. LOL, it's like I found my people!!
I have the greatest desire to visit. Your videos are keeping me excited and thinking of how to make it happen. You make me smile and that means a lot to me!! Yalla bye!
Thank you for all your travel guide videos. It helped me a lot when I visited Israel last week. As a follower of Christ and someone who is always curious about history and geopolitics, Israel has always been a dream destination and I'm sharing my travel stories on my youtube channel as well. Yallah bai! 🙂
Oren shalom I'v follow you and y do it right stuff GOD bless you Hey guys, listen Oren's advise every time and Israel is very safe place so,do not scare visit at least Jerusalem one time in a your life if y'r Muslim/Jewish/Christian
I'm new to your channel, found it as I was browsing and checking airfare price from CA USA, to Israel. I learned a lot from your video and it gave me a quick overview of my possible trip to Israel. Thanks for the info.very informative 👍
I been to israel and its very nice.. unluckily I never seen a desert as we stayed in tel aviv. WE been up north to the gallilee and Nazareth and in jerusalem.. The most thing that disappointed me the most is not that its expensive to go there but the exchange rate of currencies from Australian dollar to Sheckles. I checked the exchange rate in the internet and 1 ausstralian dollar is about 2.5 sheckles but in the airport the exchange rate is only around 80 sheckle cents for 1 aussie dollar.........
I liked to hear you talking since you started doing so on youtube, valiantly during the corona pandemic to create an income to compensate as the pandemic had wrecked tourism and with it your livelihood.
I was in Israel last month, and had loaded the apps you suggested on my cell. I do have an Israeli SIM card, with a number I've used for years. But, some of them, and also some parking apps, like Cello, wanted a mispar zehut, which I don't yet have. Others wanted an Israeli credit card, which you can't get without an Israeli bank account, and I have neither yet.
I kept watching your videos and when i got a chance to visit in September I was so excited to visit some of those places you had shown in your videos. Can't wait to travel again, but how I wish I would be guided by you this time. May God bless your efforts n keep you safe from the current Hamas invasions
Thank you for making these videos! Honestly, with the rampant inflation in the US most hotels here are $200/night minimum and $10+ for alcohol. I couldn't find a hotel in New York City for less than $500/night. So Israeli prices might not be too far off coming from the US 🥲
I have an extra day in Israel that I have no plans for (after 2 days in Tel Aviv and 4 in Jerusalem). I wanted to rent a car and go somewhere for that day. What would be recommended? While in Jerusalem I’m already going to Bethlem and Nazareth for day trips. Great videos btw, it has helped me plan the trip accordingly.
Another great video Oren, many thanks. One minor point I will make, the internet was invented in the '60's, not the '90's. Even the WWW was invented in 1989. Shalom.
THANKS OREN , I REALLY LIKE HEARING 👂 YOUR VOICE 😁 AND YOUR THOUGHTS 💭 ON ISRAEL …SO I AM LIKING AND SUBSCRIBED …a personal visit is not possible because of health and budget 😅 SO WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS IS MUCH APPRECIATED 🤗👍 SHALOM,YALLA BYE 💚💚💚
Oren, if you haven’t seen State of a Nation with Ellon Levy the session with Havid Rettig Gur is very interesting. I’m thinking it could give you some new material for your videos countering the Palestinian narrative.
we took your recommendation and stayed at Ortal in the golan. really modern beautifully presented decor a/c or heat in room really comfortable... friendly and helpful staff.. clean well kept and interesting grounds.. excellent food, good well signposted roads easy to get there. thankyou for your recommendation that was really worthwhile.. we will come again.
Oren I think you're the smartest guy on youtube regarding travel to Israel.

@@nathangillingham5734 I said visit, you fucking idiot
I lived in Israel for 3.5 years, like 30 odd years ago and loved the country, the people and the culture.

Any tour guide recommendations for Jerusalem?

I'll be there in January, can't wait.

היי אורן, הייתי מוסיף את המספר ״2022״ לכותרות או לתיוגים. זה הופך את הוידאו ליותר עדכני ולפי האלגוריתם מופיע יותר.
