Wow can’t believe I’m just now seeing this video and reason it wouldn’t turn over is cuz ur rob bearings basically swell up n without oil it just goin grip ur crank shaft like hell so that’s why you have to wait until it cool down in order for it to crank again
Take advantage of it being down. Order a 1000R engine from high tech powersports. Tell them you wanna run it on a drive by wire machine. You are swapping a 650 to a 1000r. If you are going to spend the money on a rebuild, you might as well go with the 1000R swap.
Take your time and do it right. Clutches are defiantly key for putting the power down. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
