- I heard this melancholy song long ago on OLTL. I managed to record it on a cd from the vhs and then forgot about it, until I dug it up recently from my box of cds. If anyone has any info on this song please post it up here. I'd like to know. It's almost a kind of religious song, no?
Lyrics:
Be careful what you say, be careful where you put your faith.
They'll throw your broken heart in your face.
I want to hear you say,
there's things that you want to believe in.
What is it you think that you see.
Who is out there for you to trust,
When things turn to murder, children to dust.
I love you, I want you to be what you want to be. . .
And keep your faith in the kindness of strangers
if you lose your faith in me.
You're alone out there--don't walk where kings can't find you.
Try not to believe in their talk.
There's hunger in their hearts, cruelty on their mind.
Be careful out there in the dark.
Although_______doesn't have to be cold.
There's so many things I wish I told you.
You'll find your own way....
I believe that you'll find kindness out there,
Somewhere--people who will care for you. . .
I love you, I want you to be what you want to be.
And keep your faith in the kindness of strangers,
if you lose your faith in me . . . Развлечения
Just got the used CD in today. Wow, I immediately recognized the producers on the back, Craig Armstrong--great film composer-Moulin Rouge, Australia, World Trade Center. Paul O'Duffy another great producer for Swing Out Sister. Even Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) makes the credit. I'm glad I found this.
YAY!! Glad I was able to help...so many great songs on there. Enjoy!!!
Thanks! That's like finding a needle in a haystack. Didn't think anyone had the answer. =)
This song is by a band callled "Kindness of Strangers" and this is also the name of the song. I actually have the tape...wow I said tape. I use to listen to this song back in the 90's (1993-1994) The cover of the tape is red. They also sang a song called HOPE the title of the album. Its on amazon, its the only place I found it.

Yes, Nora was talking to Todd in his jail cell, the rest of the song showed a collage of the actors in their storylines.
