  • Hi guys. Well, I’ve been flying the Rise 3 for a couple of hundred hours and I was really looking forward to the upcoming Rise 4. Lucky for me that Mark from Cloudbase was able to grab the first Rise 4’s on the planet and get one in size small into my hands. Thanks, mate!
So my impression of this glider is that it is absolutely in no way comparable to the Rise 3. The Rise 3 was an exceptionally spectacular high-b, but the Rise 4 just really takes things to a new level. AirDesign is notorious for having that rock-solid glider feel, and the Rise 4 comfort is no different.
The main differences and improvements that I can detail to you are:
    • Noticeable increase in speed
    • Glide and climb performance: The Rise 4 offers superior glide and has been great for me with some new PB’s on some headland hopping flights. More videos to come on that soon.
    • Agility: Noticeably more agile and fun but at the same time, very stable in flight.
    • Reduction in brake pressure
Additionally to this, another great thing that I have noticed since making the walkaround video. The trailing edge is also now optimized with a new brake raff system, providing lighter brake pressure feel than that of the Rise 3 and what this has done is make the glider even more stable when reaching the stall point when coming in to top land. Have a look at my other video showing a cliffside precision landing on the new walking path at Merewether: • Bottom landing to answ...
Overall, I’m super impressed with this glider and really enjoy flying it! I highly recommend testing one.
    Thanks for watching!

Just a walkaround so people can see what they are buying and how it feels. I will do a few more as I get new wings.

You should try XC with it. Fly at Manilla with Godfrey for example. Its probably very safe wing in hardcore xc weather in Australia. All the best! Great review! Even Ziad is not specific about important details!!

Nice one buddy, take your time no need to rush the Vivo is a great low B wing and you can put hundreds of hours on it before stepping up to a High B
