Some become Muslim, because they don't know what they missed when they ignored the lifestyle of religion.
Some become Muslim, because they see the effect of bad friends.
Some become Muslim, because they experience the hardships of a bad system of judgement.
Some become Muslim, because of teachings they didn't plan to be exposed to.
Some refine their beliefs and practices, because they have a better realization of what Islam should be for them.

Advice to you, my beloved brother, Islam is the Qur’an, the Messenger Muhammad, his Sunnah and laws, and this is the tree of Islam. Ali is only the Caliph and the husband of the Prophet’s daughter and the father of Hassan and Hussein and the Shiites believe in Ali and his sons and they are branches of the tree, not the tree itself, which is the Qur’an and the Messenger Muhammad, as I said before that, read about the Sunnah and know the difference. We all worship God and His book is the Qur’an that God revealed to the Messenger Muhammad, and he is the one who taught us as he taught Ali and his sons how to pray and perform ablution, so do not leave the tree and hold on to the branch. This is my advice to you and may God accept you.

I love Islam but I don’t always agree with Sunni and Shia situation especially when it comes down to determining that one is more righteous than the other based on bloodlines. In the eyes of Allah we are all the same and some, even if closely relate to other righteous people, can themselves follow the wrong path.

After the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his immaculate progeny), Muslims had two options for seeking guidance from; the ahlulbayt (family) of the holy Prophet. Others.
The ahlulbayt are those family members of the holy Prophet who grew up in his blessed lap. Islam, Qur'an and the Shari'ah was revealed in their house. The angels descended with the blessings and mercy of Allah into their house. Muslims are obligated to send blessings upon not only their Prophet but also his holy progeny in their daily prayers/salat/namaz. The holy Prophet left behind him the Book of Allah, the holy Qur'an and his holy progeny. The ahlulbayt are the best examples and role models after the holy Prophet. They are the inheritors of the holy Prophet's knowledge, wisdom and characteristics. The holy Prophet loved them the most and they loved him the most.
Who can understand Islam, Qur'an, Shari'ah and the sunnah of the holy Prophet better than the people of the house?
This is why the Shi'as follow the holy household of the holy Prophet and none else.
As regards to the others, we are not sure of the state of their iman, their source of knowledge, information, understanding and guidance about Islam.
The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslims are victim of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance and misconceptions when it comes to the school of the ahlulbayt.

Sunnis love people like Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman, Mu'awiyyah and so on simply because they are the sahabas (companions) of the holy Prophet regardless of their characteristics. They love, respect, revere and take women like Ayesha, Hafsa and others simply because they were the wives of the holy Prophet regardless of their behaviour and characteristics.
Muslims send blessings upon their Prophet and his holy progeny in their daily prayers/namaz/salat but ironically they have no idea who the family members of their Prophet are. What are their names, what is their status in the light of the holy Qur'an, the holy Prophet himself and so on.
Muslims need to study the biographies of personalities like the holy Prophet Muhammad, his beloved daughter Fatima, her husband Ali and their sons Hasan and Husain (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all).
Muslims need to carry out their own independent, academic and unbiased research in the history of Islam (not of the Muslims).

Please study the following statements very carefully and ponder over the points discussed.
The daughter of Abu Bakr, the wife of the holy Prophet, the mother of the believers, Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her??) waged a war against the sahabi, cousin and the son-in-law of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his immaculate progeny), a member of the holy ahlulbayt and the Rightful caliph of her time, hazrat Ali may Allah be pleased with him). Many were killed and many were injured in this battle.
The holy Prophet had warned his wives against this battle.
The name of this battle is the Battle of Jamal.
The son of Abu Sufyan and Hind, the father of Yazeed, Mu'awiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him??) waged a war against the sahabi, cousin and the son-in-law of the holy Prophet, a member of the holy ahlulbayt and the Rightful caliph of his time, hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). A highly respectable sahabi of the holy Prophet, Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah pleased with him) was martyred by Mu'awiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him??) in this battle.
The holy Prophet had informed Ammar that he would be killed by a gang of traitors.
The name of this battle is the Battle of Siffeen.
As a free thinking Muslim, I am sure it is my right to analyze such episodes and search for some concrete explanation, such as:-
      1. How on earth can Allah the All-Just be ever pleased with the oppressed and the oppressors at the same time?
If this is not a mockery of religion then what else is it?
      2. Can a sahabi of the holy Prophet be an unjust, an oppressor, a warmonger and a bloodthirsty?
      3. Can a warmonger, an unjust, an oppressor and a bloodthirsty be a sahabi of the holy Prophet?
      3. What is the definition of a sahabi?
      4. If you were present at the time, whose side would you have taken and on what grounds?
      5. Did Ayesha, Mu'awiyyah and their followers accept hazrat Ali as the Rightful caliph of their time or what?
      6. What is the punishment for anyone who rebels against the caliph of their time?
      7. What kind of examples and role models were such beings for the Muslim ummah?
      8. What kind of role model and example is Ayesha for the Muslim women?
      9. How can people drenched in the innocent blood be source of knowledge, information, understanding and guidance for the Muslim ummah?
      10. Did Ayesha, Mu'awiyyah and their followers pray namaz/salat? In their namaz, did they send blessings upon their Prophet and his holy progeny?
What kind of beings were they who sent blessings upon their Prophet and his ahlulbayt and at the same time rebelled against them, oppressed them, waged wars against them and spilled their blood?
      11. We are told not to speak against the sahabas or the wives of the holy Prophet regardless of their warmongering, oppression, injustice and bloodshed.
The SON of Prophet Nuh (a s) could not escape from the wrath of Allah. The WIVES of Prophets Nuh and Lut (peace be upon them both) could not escape from the wrath of Allah for their evil doing. Allah has cursed Abu Lahab, the UNCLE of the holy Prophet by his name in the holy Qur'an.
What makes Muslims think that the wives and the sahabas can get away with injustice, warmongering, oppression and bloodshed just like that?
Please read the first twelve verses of Sura Tahreem.
      12. We are told that the wives of the holy Prophet are included in the ahlulbayt referred to in verse 33 of Surah Ahzaab.
This can never be possible for at least two reasons.
      a. How can someone who is drenched in the blood of the holy Prophet's own family member be also a part of his family?
      b. None of the wives of the holy Prophet ever claimed to be amongst his ahlulbayt referred to in Surah 33 verse 33.
Muslims claim to love the holy Prophet and his ahlulbayt. And at the same time they love, respect, revere and take the enemies of the holy ahlulbayt as their leaders, guide, source of knowledge, information, understanding and guidance.
One wonders where does their loyalty lie? What are such beings going to answer Allah and His Prophet on the Day of Judgment?
What kind of Islam (if that is Islam) are such beings going to represent?
What would you say about someone who has the blood of your own Prophet's family member in their hands?
Shia's love the holy Prophet and his holy progeny (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all). They also love and associate with all those who love them.
Shia's dissociate themselves and keep aloof from the enemies of the holy Prophet and his holy progeny.
The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslims are victim of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance, misconceptions and misinformation when it comes to the school of the ahlulbayt.
Muslims need to study the biographies of personalities like the holy Prophet Muhammad, his beloved daughter Fatima, her husband Ali and their sons Hasan and Husain (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all).

Allah has cursed the WIVES of prophets Nuh and Lut (peace be upon them both) and thrown them into the hellfire because of their evil mongering. Allah has cursed the UNCLE of the holy Prophet, Abu Lahab by his name in the holy Qur'an. What makes Muslims think that the wives and the sahabas of the holy Prophet are going to walk away free?
Please read the first twelve verses of Surah Tahreem.
      16. We are told that the wives of the holy Prophet are included amongst the ahlulbayt referred to in verse 33 of Surah Ahzaab. This can never be possible for at least three reasons: -
      a. the relationship between the holy Prophet and his wives is through marriage which can be nullified through divorce.
      b. how can someone who is drenched with the blood of holy Prophet's own family member be also a part of his ahlulbayt?
      c. none of the wives of the holy Prophet claimed to be amongst the ahlulbayt referred to in this verse.
      17. What would you say about someone who is drenched with the blood of your own Prophet's family member?
      18. Muslims claim to love their holy Prophet and his ahlulbayt and at the same time they also love, respect, revere and take their sworn enemies as a source of knowledge, information and guidance about Islam. If this is not a super class hypocrisy, then what else is it? What are you going to answer Allah and his noblest Prophet on the Day of Judgement for such a type of attitude?
Muslims need to wake up from their deep slumber and start carrying out their own independent and unbiased research on the school of the ahlulbayt.
The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslims are victims of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance, misconceptions and misinformation when it comes to the School of the ahlulbayt.
