Great video. I noticed that you had a table top shot with a beer bottle and three lights. One of those lights was the version with out the internal battery. Did you test that ? Does that much shorter and lighter version, with out the batter, also work from PD USB power ?
Hello Rob, I always seem to be asking Unrelated questions but I am stuck. I own three Olympus cameras with no way to use a remote except through an iPhone with OI.Share. OI.Share is so fiddly but the bluetooth method seemed a possibility to me and I did in fact set up my OMD Em10 mark IV and I can use bluetooth. It happened as I was trying to set up a connection between the phone and the camera but I have no clue how it came about but the connection by bluetooth solved my problem and when I turn on my camera and the OI.Share on the phone , they connect right away. I am trying to avoid the wifi only connection because it is just so frustrating. How does one actually set up the bluetooth ONLY connection??? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you...Joe McGrath
Hi Joesph, I'm sorry for the late reply. I'm not aware of any way to use the app without Wifi on. How you got it to connect bluetooth only is a mystery to me. If you setup the camera in OI Share using the Easy Setup & QR Code, both wifi and bluetooth are configured at the same time.
@@RobTrek Hi Rob, I am quite sure that I went through OI Share to get to the bluetooth point. And I can set up my other two cameras with wifi but once I am in the wifi connection is there a way to choose bluetooth. On the screen on my OM10 4 when connected it shows both bluetooth and wifi. The bluetooth is blue but the wifi is white. Still confused but of course wifi works fine just a bit slower connect. Thanks again...Joe McGrath
Hi Rob, thanks for this video. I really don't get it with this light. There are so many occasions where this product is so big, that I can't really use it. And then again. A rubber seal for the USB C plug. Any, but I really mean ANY Samsung phone has an unprotected plug and can be hold in the water for a good moment of time, and just for the rain you will have to cover the USB C port on this lamp. It's, ahhh. Unbelievable.
Fair statements. I think the rubber plug is just to cover their bases. If water gets in the usb plug, it probably will be fine, but if you plug a cable into a wet usb port, it could be a problem.
Hi Rob, seems like a very versatile unit. Thanks for making the video. Hope your hand is healing well.
Thanks. Yes, my finger is feeling better.

I believe that's the GVM 80. It doesn't have PD USB power. I have a review here: ruclips.net/video/X2dOL8gkVTM/видео.html
@@RobTrek Thanks but its not that one. I was referring to the light in this video at time 02.28 the light on the left.
@@marcusavanti902 you have a keen eye.. I noticed that too. The unit looks like a truncated version of the same light.

@@RobTrek Could be. Thanks.
Looks like inkee gold crow's brother
Only slightly different in form. I prefer the buttons over the rotating dial of the inkee.
