Hell yeah. I took my phone out to shoot a short clip of the first track and just never put it away lol. The set ended and I was at 2% battery. Lucky I got the whole thing.
Many thanks for posting this show! From your view, I wasn't too far away from you. I shot about 5 minutes of footage myself but the audio came out damaged. This was my 8th time seeing the guys, and it just might be may favorite performance. So many great moments but the highlight has to be hearing all these wonderful songs like "Defeat" and "Magicians" that haven't even been released yet. Kudos!
This is probably one of my favorite renditions of chores! I hope that they make a live album for some of these shows, like they did with Live at 9:30 or Ballet Slippers. Would be great to hear them in higher quality!

50:45 I love Defeat a lot, but I cannot be the first person to realize these are the exact chords of Loch Raven (just this part of the song). Like down to pitch, rhythm and timbre it is the loch raven synth minus a few effects. This has to be intentional right!?
any idea why they brought out the sax dude during defeat? saw them in Philly and they definitely didn't do that, it is a nice touch however. very minimal

play loch raven at the same time and try to match it up, it is literally the same.
Yep, both are subdominant-dominant-tonic. the most basic chord structure ever, and AnCo use it quite a bit.

I’ve seen the last four shows and they’ve done it for each one of them.
They did it at Detroit and Columbus, but not at Pittsburgh.
It's the sax player from L'rain, the opening act.
