    Come to the Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society. Many local inventions and events, many reached national prominence.

    Grape juice was invented by Thomas Bromwell Welch in Vineland. (I didn't hear this on the list)

    That was interesting... How about the blueberry? I don't know if it would qualify as an invention, but it was first cultivated in NJ.

    The Ty-Rap, now generally known as zip-ties or cable-ties, was invented in New Jersey by Thomas & Betts Company.
