After all that time on a raft coming close to death trying to reach her and the kids, I wish he'd told her that he'd been willing to risk his own life to get back to her. He told her that in 2011 and even stressed that it was for her, not just the kids. They seem to always start badly and then have to fix things before they admit to their feelings.
It's funny that Blair says Starr didn't tell one single lie while he was gone, and now he's back 5 minutes and she's doing his dirty work. I guess things really never change, since now he's back 5 minutes and Starr is breaking him out of jail and holding a gun on policemen LOL
Somewhere along the line Todd went from being this violent tortured man to a text book psychopath. I mean look up the DSM everything about him is classic, well, technically he would be a sociopath but they could put Todd's picture next to the definition. I dunno. I think I find this version less compelling than the old version. And even though he does far more damage, he was somehow scarier in his first incarnation.
He does have a lot of sociopathic traits but he also doesn't totally fit. Two of the most often cited traits are mixed bags with Todd: he does have a conscience but only re: a few situations and he does have empathy but only with a few chosen people.
Blair is out of control and inappropriate with Starr here. Telling your young child that her father is a criminal and you're never going to see him again is beyond cruel. Doesn't seem like something Blair would do.
What Todd did with Jack was just horrible but Blair has him back and she needs to move on. Blair knows Todd's mind and she should be used to it by now. She keeps saying he's a kidnapper and he isn't, he tried but it did not happen. And last but not least, she told Starr she would not stop her from seeing her father and yet here she goes lieing again!!! She gets mad at Starr for lieing and yet she is the worse. I was surprised to actually here her tell Starr all their problems started when she lied about Jack being Max's and not Todd's. Like I said a lier.
@Paulette Lewis, she does not need to move on. You do not just move on from the psychological trauma losing a child puts you through. Todd telling her her baby was dead and then manipulating her into adopting her own child and sitting there day after day and watching her mourn while saying nothing was just horrible, it was absolutely horrendous. I love Todd but it's a miracle Blair ever forgave him, because lord knows I wouldn't have. No lie Blair has ever told compares to this, period.
@@nyeishaclark95 I respectfully disagree. At the time, Blair thought she was pregnant with Max’s baby, but realized it was too early, so it was Todd’s. She KNOWS Todd hates Max in vise versa, and could have told Todd MULTIPLE times. She kept lying even after she wasn’t going to prison. She pulled Kelly and several others in her scheme. So yes, Todd doing what he did to Jack was absolutely wrong, and no one should give him a pass for it. He even admits later as the soap progresses that that was the worst thing he ever did to her. But Blair shouldn’t be absolved for the role she played in it either.
@@kdubbss0583 What was Todd doing during that time though, that’s right he was terrorizing her at every turn, he kicked her out of her house, trashed her multiple times in his newspaper, got sole custody of Starr and took her out of town so Blair could not see her, why the hell should she tell him about the baby if he kept doing these things to her and all because HE couldn’t handle the fact that she was pregnant by another man, that she slept with when she and Todd weren’t even together. She even had extreme stomach pains in front of him to the point where she collapsed on the floor and what did Todd do, he just left her there and left with Starr, in no way should Todd have been rewarded with the news that he was the father of her baby when he was treating her like this. She was right to keep the secret from him if he was going to treat her that way, so yes she gets a pass for keeping the fact that he was the father from him, considering what he was putting her through during the time, he’s still WAYY more wrong than she will ever be.
@@nyeishaclark95 before all of that, he was willing to go to jail for Blair. He went directly to Nora and had it all set up. Hell, Nora, Hank and Antonio were at the house to arrest him. It wasn’t until AFTER Blair’s lie that he went to those lengths. And even that was a ploy to deem Blair insane so she wouldn’t have to go to prison for shooting Max. So again, Blair really had no reason to lie. Again not absolving Todd, but not absolving Blair either. Hell, Kelly couldn’t told him as well.
@@kdubbss0583 And why did Blair lie in the first place because she was trying to stop him from going to prison for her, she had every intention of telling him afterward but then he started to terrorize her, the trashing her in the newspapers and testifying that she was crazy he did to get her put in the mental hospital, everything else he did out of spite so again he doesn’t get to be rewarded for his behavior toward her by knowing he is the father, she was 100% justified in keeping the secret from him because of the way he was treating her, he in no way deserved to know that he was the father and he proved that time and time again by the way he was treating her.
Todd risked his life to be with Blair and the kids because he loved them all. Yet, because of Sam, he doesn't try to win her over. I wish he'd share his feelings with her like he did during the dead baby lie. If he had done that she might have come around re the kids. Even though I wish she'd be more reasonable about Starr and Jack, I can see how the combo of a planned kidnapping and the cruelty of the DBL would cause her to be concerned.
"we're divorced again, well cross that off the to do list", lmao. I adore Todd.

i love how cheerfully he says, "HI, blair!" 🥰

Todd is hilarious but oh so annoying.. lol
Twisted and filled with anger and pain but he manages to be so funny and so compelling, too!
