The left kidney is a bit higher up the chest than the right kidney, there might be a chance the stab missed, if his kidney was hit and he did not receive immediate medical attention he would bleed out.
When your party has: a big tank, a mage and a thief, meaning you have Health, magic and DPS, yet you struggle against ONE enemy that is only a knight, and you still can't win properly and need to LEDGE him This Knight > This whole party, change my mind
Best part is that the knight was wearing full plate armor on uneven footing. If it was even ground, the knight could use his more devasting swings instead of the short ones. So, the Knight is a certified badass.
That knight looks a bit like he would be a canon fodder enemy for the main characters but he actually tanked through them for the most part, even the Nord got out muscled.
Well Imagine how strong you would have to be to be wearing full plate armor (like thick plate armor from fantasy) and be that agile and maneuverable. Let alone how well trained and experienced he would be to keep balance and fight like that while in that armor

Active knights usually started training at 8 and kept going well into their 40s, see the teutonic order's ~250 knights being a lot more valuable in the field of battle than 20k soldiers. Since this is elder scrolls and the guy is a breton, he could easily be 60 and in perfect shape.

I just noticed after rewatching that the knight suffered no physical injuries from all of that being dropped on him. His armor was not dented in anywhere from the hit or fall as far as I could see in the slightest. None of his gauntlets or pauldrons were visibly deformed either so that man was inside a giant bell that got the ring of his life and depending on the cushioning inside that suit and maybe protective magic he might be just concussed and have that gut wound that now has rock dust, some possible rust from any roofing nails scraping right there, and splinters in the breach of his suit. Could be wrong bout this but that armor is TOUGH. Hope he is alright and comes back with a weapon enchanted with a single use of plot armor removal.
Even do the three did act like they were struggling, heck they were only to able to pull it off by working together and using the environment it would be cool in round 2 if the knight actually learn from the experience and simply choose to deal with the mage first, probably have some kind of grudge agenst the nord which can be shown by grabbing the guy axe and swinging it into his chest.
So just to be clear: This unnamed character kicks the asses of the 3 main characters working together. He overpowers the brute/tank. He's faster than the rogue. He can outsmart the caster. He also uses a zweihänder like it's a weapon half its size or weight. He gets a sword in the chest, has his ligaments cut, and has a building dropped on him before he finally stops fighting. And he's still fucking alive.
Part of me thinks it was a last-second move to make him the Ascendant Lord, while the real one was some other person. Literally anyone else would've been better. Spoiler: I wanted Stefan's father to be the Ascendant Lord rather than Bacaro. He would've been better. He has the voice, appearance, and considering we didn't see his body after the Cathedral Collapse during that one quest, it would've been better reveal-wise. Bacaro's just a generic villain with a lousy reveal that we all expected.

There is something similar. Breton Paladin Armor mod or something similar I think its called. Even has a connected quest where you enter The trials of faith.
Lotta players in ESO play bretons as mages, when I was playing a heavy armor tank I always got compliments for how my Breton looked. It wasn't the optimal way to play Bretons but much like this Knight, it's the pure Swag way to play Bretons.
This is what Knights should be like in most games and movies. Highly skilled, best of the best warriors that can take on multiple enemies at once with little trouble.

This isn't even impossible to see. Someone in real life could pull off the maneuvers he did -- the issue is, it takes years, if not decades, of practice. In a profession where your daily is a risk of death, it is INCREDIBLY rare to see someone be this skilled, because that means he practiced and survived all those years to get there.

I am absolutely in love with the way the knight uses his sword in the fight. He actually grabs onto the blunt part past the hand guard a couple of times for extra leverage, he uses the hilt as a weapon too if it makes for a quick attack. My only issue is that he's throwing around a sword that should realistically only weigh like three, maybe 4 kgs tops as if it weighs like five times as much.
I just realized that the viking is the same skin in fortnite. Before you scold me for saying “thats the guy from Fortnite” i got that skin and didn’t know where it was from.
So many awesome things about this. Like, you can _feel_ the weight of that sword when he's swinging it around, and yet he manages to be agile enough to just about parry/deflect anything he needs to. And then him literally sitting on a "throne" in the rubble after he's defeated? so fucking cool
everything else aside, this is one of the most action packed fights ive ever seen. no movement goes wasted for convenience of longevity. I could watch a fight like this for HOURS. seriously, show me a moment that a charachter failed to act to end the fight.. i dont think its there. there is sooo much filler in fight scenes now that they are more story then action, but THIS... my Lord
love this guy, whether or not hes the most evil person in gaming history. hes a fucking badass, he deflected magic, not just once, but fucking twice. he survived a giant stone arch crushing him, and making him fall a good 20 or so feet, while being in the craziest, and coolest fucking pose of all time. i wish i was him

The crazy part about showcasing this. In lore. Basically all Breton Knights are like this. They are trained to basically be a one man army. Basically none of them go around spouting their names. However, they are extremely recognizable and they care about the honor of their knighthood over everything else. That's why when you think of Breton Knights. You think of the Knights of the Dragon or Knights of the Flame and not a specific name.
Super late to the party, but I wanted to point out since no one else did--the beats of the fight are timed PERFECTLY with the beats of that song, which not only speaks to the quality of the edit but illustrates that choreographed fights are dances with a rhythm and beat :)
Bretons have a racial passive that has them reduce the damage of incoming magic by half (depends on the game), which here is portrayed as the knight outright riposting the magic back at the attacker. Not sure who was the genius who put that part in, but it's absolutely golden.
A figth between 3 most skilled wariors of country playing wide vs weakest knigth of tall country. This reminds me when I was learning playing Crusader Kings 3. My friend was playing tall by conqouring Venice, Istria and Ragusa (Dubrovkin), so he could form his own kingdom. I was playing Croatia. I was playing wide and trying to conquer all my heighbours while my friend "overbuilding" all of his land with everything he can. At some point, i decided to attack him and take all of his lands. So here we are - I had 10k army with 1500 of them proffesionals of diffrent kinds, and he had 3500 men with 2500 of them proffesionals (I also didn't seen a 11 overpowered knigts). In a first battle, he disintegrated most of my army while losing only 100 of proffesionals and 600 levies (no, his charachter wasn't leading army). After seccond battle, he killed my king and I lost all of my land. And that isn't stop there. After 100 years, when i was a vassal of Bizantium empire, he just killed the whole empire by himself only. I was shocked observing battle of 100k with 7k and seeing my friend winn the battle by loosing only quarter of his army and left Basileus with no army at all.
This man parried a witch with her own magic nonsense, beat them all to the ground with no damage, tanked his own sword put through him and just kinda... shook it off than survived waving a 1 ton rock dropped directly onto his skull. This is guy should be the main character fr.
Is it meant to be a play on the Ebony Warrior from Skyrim? He only appears after lvl 60 because he is an end-game level opponent. If i remember correctly, his armor has high magic defense and powerful magic amplification buffs but i also think he has buffs to melee as well so he can wipe the floor with you if you are both not powerful enough and careful enough. Given that the Nameless Knight keeps shrugging off their attacks and even survives having the pillar dropped on top of him.

it's a shame that ESO doesn't look like the trailers do. If it had the graphics and more interesting combat style i would invest more time on the game.

I saw one person say something along the lines of build a Breaton as a Warrior geared towards Tanking Magic and you got the Sigma Knight.

This isn't even impossible to see. Someone in real life could pull off the maneuvers he did -- the issue is, it takes years, if not decades, of practice.
In a profession where your daily is a risk of death, it is INCREDIBLY rare to see someone be this skilled, because that means he practiced and survived all those years to get there.

I am absolutely in love with the way the knight uses his sword in the fight. He actually grabs onto the blunt part past the hand guard a couple of times for extra leverage, he uses the hilt as a weapon too if it makes for a quick attack. My only issue is that he's throwing around a sword that should realistically only weigh like three, maybe 4 kgs tops as if it weighs like five times as much.

I love how he LITERALLY turns the mage’s spell against herself just by twisting her hand.
It's crazy that even after all that he was still alive.

So many awesome things about this. Like, you can _feel_ the weight of that sword when he's swinging it around, and yet he manages to be agile enough to just about parry/deflect anything he needs to. And then him literally sitting on a "throne" in the rubble after he's defeated? so fucking cool

That punch after he got stabbed though, I felt it through my screen also awesome video especially when the music cuts perfect moment for it
My favorite part is when the knight reversed the girls spell by crushing it.

everything else aside, this is one of the most action packed fights ive ever seen. no movement goes wasted for convenience of longevity. I could watch a fight like this for HOURS. seriously, show me a moment that a charachter failed to act to end the fight.. i dont think its there. there is sooo much filler in fight scenes now that they are more story then action, but THIS... my Lord
love this guy, whether or not hes the most evil person in gaming history. hes a fucking badass, he deflected magic, not just once, but fucking twice. he survived a giant stone arch crushing him, and making him fall a good 20 or so feet, while being in the craziest, and coolest fucking pose of all time. i wish i was him

The crazy part about showcasing this. In lore. Basically all Breton Knights are like this. They are trained to basically be a one man army.
Basically none of them go around spouting their names. However, they are extremely recognizable and they care about the honor of their knighthood over everything else. That's why when you think of Breton Knights. You think of the Knights of the Dragon or Knights of the Flame and not a specific name.
Super late to the party, but I wanted to point out since no one else did--the beats of the fight are timed PERFECTLY with the beats of that song, which not only speaks to the quality of the edit but illustrates that choreographed fights are dances with a rhythm and beat :)

This reminds me when I was learning playing Crusader Kings 3. My friend was playing tall by conqouring Venice, Istria and Ragusa (Dubrovkin), so he could form his own kingdom. I was playing Croatia. I was playing wide and trying to conquer all my heighbours while my friend "overbuilding" all of his land with everything he can. At some point, i decided to attack him and take all of his lands. So here we are - I had 10k army with 1500 of them proffesionals of diffrent kinds, and he had 3500 men with 2500 of them proffesionals (I also didn't seen a 11 overpowered knigts). In a first battle, he disintegrated most of my army while losing only 100 of proffesionals and 600 levies (no, his charachter wasn't leading army). After seccond battle, he killed my king and I lost all of my land. And that isn't stop there. After 100 years, when i was a vassal of Bizantium empire, he just killed the whole empire by himself only. I was shocked observing battle of 100k with 7k and seeing my friend winn the battle by loosing only quarter of his army and left Basileus with no army at all.

Is it meant to be a play on the Ebony Warrior from Skyrim? He only appears after lvl 60 because he is an end-game level opponent. If i remember correctly, his armor has high magic defense and powerful magic amplification buffs but i also think he has buffs to melee as well so he can wipe the floor with you if you are both not powerful enough and careful enough. Given that the Nameless Knight keeps shrugging off their attacks and even survives having the pillar dropped on top of him.
Small correction. Ebony Warrior appears at lvl 80, because in original release that was the level you had after getting 100 in all skill trees
