Hi , I must say I am in awe of you both, love the way your liveing your life , enjoy looking at your ways ,, I find the time to sit and watch, the cooking skill, sailing ,, all you do you enjoy your ,life , never stop ,the best wishes to you both,,
Definitely, fish roe. I grew up in Newfoundland and we traditionally fry cod roe and have given it the name of britches as the shape is similar to baggy pants.
Ok this is video number 1 of my "I want to buy a Free Range Sailing hoody" campaign
Cheers
Matt
Another tip for the flathead. If you get stung rub the effected area on its belly and it will remedy the pain.
BRAVE SIR ROBBIN!! Oh know I know your humor level!!
Pascal has the sweetest giggle ever. I could listen forever to her.
I subscribe to over 100 channels many of which are dormant / inactive along with may others which are active containing good value. I rank this channel at the very top of my list. I do so because of the adventure theme, the care put toward editing, the educational value, the abundance of nature based footage, and the good natured producers.
First time watching this channel. You are very lucky to have that woman. She is incredible. Great channel.
By far the best sailing channel on RUclips. Comprehensive, informative and entertaining.
Outstanding job in all respects!
Great video ... loved the ‘sperm face’ and the reference to Brave Sir Robin ... ‘“RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY” cracked me up. Thanks guys
Ah yes, the Ballad of Brave Sir Robin. I see you are a crew of culture!
Another beautifully written, narrated and edited video. From the mercurial moods to the feral looks of a proper days graft at sea. Such a joy to listen to let alone to soak up the stunning visuals. Thank you so much! /Neil, Stockholm.
My mom an dad loved fish row. They fried it crispy in butter. They put the fish row on French toast or just toast and sprinkled syrup or honey on it. They said it was great and raved over it.
A Free Range video! The day has been salvaged. ⛵️
happiness in motion
happy your back love from canada
I thought the episode sequence was messed up.. The Southern Ocean and the two of you in swim suits. It seems Tasmania is full of surprises.
You mean fish liver does not taste like fish liver oil? Always learning on Free Range.
This is by far the best sailing and off grid live aboard vlog on RUclips ,It is deep and spirited and funny, where are the 3 million views?
Does Pascale needs new bikinis or is the million dollar catamaran missing. As an unstable commander in chief would say : "sad"
heya some nice sailing and beautiful natuur
Very Nice
Pascale is looking exquisitely gorgeous as usual. Great vid as always guys.
Cheers!
Just lovely ✨ ⛵️ ⚓️ 🏝 🌊 👙 🌞 🍷 ✨
💯 ⛵ 😍 Keep on sailing!!!
Pascale has the most beautiful smile. Warms my heart every time I see it. You guys have the most laid back, comfortable videos. I always enjoy your channel.
Another great episode, I have learnt that my raging at the wind and boat is merely a mercurial mood 😄
Cooked codroe sliced on a piece of bread with lemon and mayo👌
When it comes to food NEVER ask what it is, where it comes from, Denial is your friend.
Great video so glad to have found you both! Time to spend my day off catching up with your adventures fuelling my imagination and planning for post lockdown adventures ✊
So glad you checked the app. Easy to poach an oversised flathead! And how great is flinders island! Went over there recently to repair the councils D6 dozer. Planning on going back there
I am always amazed how fast your little 30 footer goes. It really is a fantastic sail boat. As usual Troy has a great sense of humour and I think Pascal brings the best out in him. Keep up the great video's , always look forward to them.
You two make beautiful videos and so interesting and gently inspirational. Thank you so much.
What more could you ask for during lock down, or any other time for that matter, than another chilled, no frills sail with Free Range Sailing. This has fast become my favorite channel and fresh roe for lunch too - yummy.
Definitely one of the better sailing channels!
Hi Guys,
The Flathead are good to eat, and so are the Leather Jackets.
The South Ozzie Gov also has a fisheries app for download from their PIRSA site. It will be well worth a look before you do any foraging in SA waters.
Cheers Eric
thanks guys ..
That's how we like the fishing. Easy. Thank you for your videos.
One of my favorite episodes, for so many reasons!
Glad to see your still out there having a great life,
Well done
Awesome! I've been looking forward to the Tasmania footage for a month now.
Thanks for the video, looks amazing sailing, beautiful inshore places I have neaver seen before, so enjoy sail on be safe.
good on ya both!! love it!
Outstanding video!. It really helps the lockdown (Portugal)
You two are made for each other and bring much joy to the world. Stay safe.
What an interesting channel! I particularly enjoyed the insight shared on fish, habitat etc.
What a great experience of a lifetime. There’s plenty of time to stare at computer screens and phones for the rest of our lives, but you two are out living life to the fullest and creating more memories in a day than most do in a year. Well done Troy and Pascal. Do you ever see an end in sight for this particular adventure? I think your RUclips community would follow you inland to simply watch you work on the land even. You’re just an interesting couple.
Pure entertainment......And beautiful Aus
first time I met you guys and I like what I see, thank you, I will definitely keep watching you
Thank you for the video that sure is a beautiful place.
Wow, what a sail! "No free lunches". Aye m8's, thnx for sharing and fair weather!
Excellent as usual!!!
Monty python references are on point!!!
Whats not to like with these two, superb as always. Cheers from Sweden🍺🇸🇪
Great sailing! All the best guys!
Love the Monty Python reference!
So happy Pascale is back, oh, and of course you too Troy. 😁😁
Brave Sir Robin, this was a masterful piece of sailing! By the way, he who sails and runs away - for instance when running into a sand bar - lives to sail another day - so, well done!
Beautiful video! Bonuses..Pascale adventures of I'll cook that, and Troy as Brave Sir Robin.
Thank you.
most awesome mate!
Awesome new adventure Troy and Pascale. Helps with the time being holed up in the house while this bug travels around
Thanks a ton. Perfect relief after a long shift. And the HOLY GRAIL? Yea! Our favorite. Exposed my teenage son to good humor ages ago. Great Sailing!
I really enjoy watching a "sailing ________" video ......actually sailing. I cant do what you do, so I live vicariously through you, and I want to go sailing, so Thanks for That Mate!
Laughing and happy no matter the weather. Sail on guys.
Thanks for the wonderful video guys. My 30 footer sits on a mooring waiting for our lockdown to end, then I shall be released!!! Love your openness to sharing the finer points of life at sea....especially the culinary delights....(reaching for bucket)! That said, your production skills are first rate and we look forward to more adventures.
great video brave sir robin and company! that passage in there was intense for sure!
I reckon Flathead must be one of the nicest fish to eat .Thanks for the Video guys
You're always welcome mate. You must have knocked over a few flatties in your time there.
@@FreeRangeLiving You bet as a kid I used do really well on a drift from Grotto point To Clontarf Now my son is doing the same.Around where you scrubbed Mirools bum
Lived 4 years in Tassie, my staple diet 5 day's a week was Cocky Salmon. Also my first big Lizard was in Tassie. Looking forward to more. Best wishes to you both.
thanks, can't wait to go for a sail after the lock down
A number of yrs ago I spent a summer cooking on the shore of Lake Superior. A local delicacy was whitefish livers in a cream sauce. Not bad, but a relatively strong fish flavor.
Another great video, thanks both. You're right about yacht size for the sailing you do. Currently selling my 50' to get some thing smaller as I can't get into half the places I'd like to because of keel depth and manoeuvrability.
When we were last up Flinders is etc, we sailed down the west coast of the island as there are so many islands and potential Anchorage’s to protect you from various wind directions. We did the reverse in sailing out from Lady Barron via the passage and past Vansittart Island. Mind you we did this with a sea fog which only added to the situation given all the shoals you need to avoid. How good is the view from the pub, cold beer in hand. 😁🍺
There's a lot to be said for a good pair of polaroids to keep you safe while your sailing,a good save there Troy👍Waste not, want not in the Galley with Free Range Chef Pascale, good job🙂
Awesome video
Love the MP Holy Grail audio. Just watched the tail end of that movie today... Sail like an English Sparrow... or is it an African... Ahhhhhhhh!
Nice video thanks
Keep going! If i could i would. Thanks for reminding me how it is.
Good job guys, your 2020 certainly got off to a better start than ours with regards to sailing!!
Enjoying life as armchair sailors right now. Great vids.
Stay safe guys. 🤞⛵️🐾
Girl, you are a trooper! Hang in there.
You guys are the best keep it up!!!!!
Another cracking video thank you
Nice episode Sir Robin :-D
awesome sailing!
Loved it Thanks
great post guys
hello from de brazil. Cool and nice video.
Pascale i bought a genuine Bamix in 1986 when i was 18. I bought it to make milkshakes because my mother wouldn't buy one! It's still going strong 34 years later and been used for much more than milkshakes. I hope you enjoy yours as much as i've loved mine.
Hello from Canada. Another beautiful " day in the life " movie from our favourite world explorers. Thank you both so much. You help this oldish retired carpenter feel like your deckhand. Oh, yeah, that cooking segment, damm ! My face and sides still hurt from laughing so hard. Stay safe and healthy during this bloody lock down shit.
Very very interesting. Enjoy to watch. Getting the wet suit on brought back my scuba diving days. PADI card.
One dive was going into the water off West Vancouver.
Big waves were hitting the beach...it was take a step in and wave hits ..go back 2 steps ...finally get in...and the bottom is sloping slowly downwards then think it was at 35/40 ft then it just went straight down.
Buddy diver and myself go down and deprogrammed gauge says 150 ft. Which is quite deep for un experienced sport divers. Very dark so up is the way air bubbles go. Water pressure on the body squeezed my wet suit in words so much my weight belt slid to my ankles. Just caught it in time with my hands.
Then wiggled the belt back in place....
Would of shot up to surface like an air balloon if belt fell off.....that would of been problematic.
Yes but do remember as yous ...putting on the wet suits....( plus all other gear )
But yous too deal with the elements...winds seas shoals ...
Nice tasty looking fish ...fresh as could be.
And what a great ending !!! Shower....cold beer ....an a billion dollar view !!! And sitting in chairs that do not go up and down in the waves. Chairs on land .....unless there's an earthquake.
IPAD spell checker booo!
Depth gauge.
Good to see you again!
The more videos of yours I see the more I want to go to Oz.BTW Love me some patae.
Another great episode!
Troy can you stop on those grounds next time and bottom bash. Would love to see some more table fish.
love how you don't waste a bit of the fish good on you.
Amazing! 🇬🇧
Great video as usual. Love your vids.
The Old Betsy :D
Yuck! that was close, it instantly triggered a wellknown feeling. Up here, it is a mostly coastal and archipelagic navigating. Constant watch. Thanks for great vid.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Thank you, you beautiful people xx
Awesome. As usual!
I sail in to Adelaide Bay from the western side and I have very good eyesight and could pick up the leads but what a sail we had. Then went to the same pub as you did and have coke after coke after coke( coca-Cola) thats became we didn’t have any on the yacht. Some time later we went out the way you came in and headed down the east cost of Tasmania.
Welcome back...love seeing you sail your old sailboat around Australia! -Rebecca on SV Brick House
