wow super podcast. 24:00 34:00 very interesting how Meek compose a song. 40:00 how she write the lyrics ( lyrics must match with the melody and it's more difficult for Europeans because it's not their native language). 47:00 the idea of pirates. 52:00 inception 😅

Wow! This was probably the most exciting interview I ever listened to of VoA... As a non-musician it's very hard to understand how the songwriting process is going, but your podcast gives a very nice insight of how their music is created. Thank you for it!
It's highly recommended to watch the full 2 hours.
    Greetings for Germany, Julia ✨

Great interview. Also love the dynamic between Clemi and Michele. You can really see that they get along well on a professional level and have a great understanding of each other, the band, and their goals for VoA. No wonder VoA just keeps getting better and better. They also know how to incorporate what they want and their style to making sure it is also pleasant to listeners. And I do agree with the part about some European bands making the mistake of the lyrics not matching the melody. I've noticed it in a certain pure female-led symphonic rock band with some of their songs. The melody and rhythm is good but the lyrics sound awkward. Overall I see better songs for VoA in the future since based on interviews I've watched, Clemi and Meek know what they want and how to also make the songs pleasant to the ears. Great podcast, frank, honest, in-depth, authentic and really made me see how humble this band is and how self-aware they are of their status, skills, and limitations.

Awesome interview, I like how they emphasize they are a Symphonic Metal Band first, and then incorporate their own fantasy/piratical world into the lyrics
