We will be posting a video update of all that his been going on at some point during our travels and of course sharing as much of it with you as we can. We filmed about 4 or 5 videos while we were in Lyon and we have now moved on to Switzerland, which is breathtaking. We hope you enjoy these series of vlogs we'll be sharing with you from France and Switzerland.

So chic, so artfully designed…what a perfect jewel of a restaurant…the French are amazing artists…they take life to a very high level. I would love to visit…thank you. ❤❤❤
Our pleasure!
Right out of La Cage aux Folles --- and the rest room... with birds chirping ....wow!
It was so beautiful 😍
That was the most beautiful cozy restaurant I have ever seen!
It truly was so beautiful and yes, very cozy.
What a stunning restaurant! I hope you enjoyed Lyon as much as I have over the years. It's such a charming, walkable city with so much to see and do.
It really is beautiful! You are the one who inspired me (KJ) to go, Linda.
The food capital of the world they say. Fantastic restaurants everywhere.
True!
Certainly looks like a fun place 👍
It's lovely ❤️
You both look fabulous. KJ is always glamorous and the French air is reverse aging Tony. He looks younger every time you visit France!
Thank you ❤️
So happy for you both. I couldn't last that long without sleep. I know you're just in heaven! Debby in Kansas
I can't believe we lasted that long either. We did wind up getting sick, so probably not a good idea. We keep learning how to plan better ❤️
That restaurant! My husband and I are dying to go to Lyon. Merci beaucoup
You must go when you're in Lyon. It will not disappoint!
Happy to see you back in France. Wonderful dining experience ❤
Thank you!
Les Demoiselles de Rochefort is the name of a famous French movie by Jacques Demy with Catherine Deneuve and her sister Francoise.
Yes, Tony knew that (I didn't until he told me). He's a movie encyclopedia ❤️
The atmosphere in the restaurant was spectacular...that only develops over years and years.
It really is beautiful 😍
Wow! I didn't see you for a while, I really enjoyed Lyon, greetings from San Diego
So glad you enjoyed the video!
What a lovely restaurant! Lyon looks promising, but we will look for more of your upcoming updates to see more. Blessings to you from the United Kingdom🙏😊👏👍❤️
Thanks so much! 😊

You're welcome!

Yes, it's lovely and very romantic. We highly recommend!
Wow, the prices looked so reasonable.
Yes, they were very reasonable prices!
Looks amazing
It was!
Beautiful resto! But, have uou been to Spain ir Portugal? Best value for money and fabulous!! Just got back from Seville and thought I'd die!! Live in Portugal 🇵🇹, France for 13 yrs and never going back!! Love SpIn and Portugal!
Do you have double nationality with another eu country?
No! But, my man has CRUE and it's gold!!! He is French and I am super lucky!!
Are you employed by the Spanish and Portuguese tourism office?
@@danguid2753 Nope! American who lived in France for 14 yrs and now Portugal for 2 yrs...Traveled a lot!!! It's called experience!!!
Yes, we've been to both. But not for many years. We are thinking of going to Spain in June to celebrate my (KJ) 60th birthday 🥳
Lovely video! I want to try that restaurant!
It's so good!
You both look very much at home. Les Demoiselles de Rochefort is such a lovely French musical film from the 60s. Thanks for the recommendation, the atmosphere and food look wonderful. M&R
Is that the name of the restaurant? Les Demoiselles de Rochefort?
Is that like roquefort dressing or in salads?
Our pleasure!
Yes
No, I believe it's a place - Rochefort
The food looks really good. The decor is theatrical! I think I'd find it a little overbearing though. It has Agatha Christie overtones 👻.
It didn't feel that way. Also, it's much lighter than in the video.
Wonderful!!!! You guys looked fantastic for being without sleep for so long!!
Thank you!! 😊
So jealous... love you guys be vigilant stay safe and enjoy yourselves!
❤️
That looks amazing - both in looks and quality of the food. We will be in Lyon next week. How did you find this hidden gem?
Google ❤️
I hope Heaven is like Lyon 🤍
Hi Sharon! I hope you are well. Lyon is truly beautiful ❤️
So many great places in Europe to visit outside France!
True!
Do you have a favorite restaurant in Lyon or other areas of France?
I like yours videos
But you show only the tourist side of France
France is not only a postcard for tourist
I don't see in your videos any contacts with the french people in the normal life
I don't know if you want to stay in France
But i think it will be interesting to see that side
Maybe you have some problems with our language
Sorry for my poor English
Amitiés 🤩
Yes, right now we are showing the tourist view because we have not moved yet.
I watched tons of French shows, and this is the first one I’ve ever seen on Lyon. I look forward to more of these. It’s supposed to be a really gorgeous city but very expensive.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It is a beautiful city and not as expensive as some of the other major French cities.
Lovely restaurant! I will be in Lyon in June. Can you give me the address? Merci!
31 Rue Rene Leynaud, Lyon 69001
KJ and Tony have you actually moved already or are you on a scouting mission?
Scouting 😉
Did you return? ❤❤❤
Beautiful. I’m curious if Andrea suggested Lyon and is this where you are planning to settle?
Who’s Andrea?
French Realtor and moving consultant@@rivierarocket
@@rivierarocket the one that they did a video with in Paris about what not to do before moving to France
@@annescanapico7168 Her name is Adrian Leeds. I must have met her decades ago but not for info as I've been in France since 1977 and she came after that
@@rivierarocket oh yes, it is Adrian, sorry I wasn’t sure I had her name correctly.
Hello ! I have no doubt that the meal was very good. On the other hand, I noticed spelling errors on the menu card. At the beginning ENTRÉE and not ENTREE . Foie gras and not fois gras, the grossest mistake. And finally crème brûlée and not brulée. That surprised me ..
The "fois" gras est rigolo (correct on website) but forgetting a circumflex on the "u" of brûlée is not the end of the world. Maybe l'Académie Française will lose their minds over this
Could be errors (typos) that the printers made, or maybe the chef isn't French, or is more southern French (Langue D'Oc)? The decor reminds me of an Italian restaurant.
@@rivierarocket They haven't forgotten the circumflex on rôti.
@@betteurbain7911 The errors come from those who printed the card for sure. But that no one has corrected it is surprising.
@@danguid2753 Maybe they can't see it. The restaurant seems dark. Also, the restaurant business is a very busy one. As long as people can tell what the dish is, it's probably not a high priority.
"Fois gras"? They can't spell the word for "liver"?
