- are you or do you plan to post content to Rumble? I'm trying to make the switch as youtube seems to really be on board with being part of all the authoritarian style censorship of anyone the corpos or governments tell them is on the blacklist. We can't take convenience over morality in everything we do and if its possible I'd like to get off this platform but it definitely seems that they need more content creators so just hoping you might be doing both platforms. Really enjoy your work, I wouldn't sleep nearly as well without your amazing narrations to help me enter the dreaming :)
@@Babidi111 🙂👍
@@Babidi111 We're already on a dozen platforms in addition to RUclips (Bandcamp, Patreon, Audible, Spotify, 2 podcasts, to name a few). Rumble might be worth a look in the future, but it's a question of time and resources at the moment.
OH SNAP Tell me what you know of fear is yours?!? I thought it was a collection by different authors. A couple of those are flipping terrifying.
Ian: short story
Also Ian: 3hrs+ 😂
The night time is the right time, The night time is the right time. The night time is the right time. The night time is the right time.
Sandman.. dope
It's like you said, it was the only way to save him
Let it be Lowenbrau.
You said you need a haircut. They'll GIVE you haircut.
the writing in these is phenomenal, i had to check who's it was and couldnt be happier to see it was yours, Ian. outstanding stuff.
Thank you!
It is good writing.
Been listening for many years. It's very generous to provide your audio book freely, so I went ahead and bought it on Amazon, and I'm following along.
I can't always afford to support my favorite creators, but I do when I can.
I'll be claiming the first review as well. ❤
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that. Ian
Ahhhh 3+ hours of original Gordon stories! 🤘 Heck yes.
“Dogs that drink tea must be in charge, correct?” 😂👌
Oh what an honour to have your beautiful angel narrating with you . What a fantastic treat on a lovely sunny Sunday thank you xx
"Pockets" gave me chills when you initially aired it, bringing me back to seeing The Twilight Zone episode "Little Girl Lost" for the first time. Now all I can think is how the concept of it must feel for you now as an actual parent. 😟 Thanks for the anxiety Ian.😅
How typical that we'd have to have a girl!
I had the most Vivid nightmares during "Pockets". I'm a lucid dreamer you see, and sometimes listening to these stories at night can go horribly wrong.
Let's just say I experienced the pocket dimension for myself and it's nowhere you want to be.
Also after regaining Consciousness I will say I get heavy Interstellar vibes from that story.
Beware The Road Less Traveled folks
Whoa!
In the preamble Ian uses the term "horror shorts" and my diseased brain immediately equates that with overweight old guys wearing Speedos. Think i may need to adjust the medication.
With all that said, brilliant stories again Ian; you're doing a cracking job of world building. We need to get you to an even wider audience.
Ha...! Thanks for the mental image.
What an awesome surprise to have seen this notification! Perfect for the second evening of fall!
I've got a bit of a long drive coming up on Wednesday. So I'll be saving this for then. Can't wait!
“I can’t tell you when the world ends; it’s supposed to be a surprise. I will say this though: it’ll be a Tuesday... _Nothing good happens on a Tuesday!”_
-Cthulhu, ‘Calls for Cthulhu’
Your comment about the Boss, is certainly accurate!
Thank you so much, enjoying ,tip my hat 🌳🌳
Simple outstanding work many thanks Ian!😎👍🏻
I am very entertained and darkly asborbed by "Aisle 22". I am a long time stock boy and associate in retail. It resonates with me, very weirdly. It speaks to the horrors of consumerism, corporations, and that oft-felt...but rarely mentioned and hard to describe feeling of existential dread in such environs. The surroundings of gossip, and bureaucracy, everything delegated out, with much remaining out of sight, or altogether unknown....are strongly felt in this offering. Top knotch, and oddly fun!
I did my time in a supermarket -- I know the feeling well!
“It’s your turn, Joey” is excellent. Love the ambiguity. Terror vs horror.
It actually sent shivers that a jaded old man like me rarely feels. So well crafted.
ALL HAIL THE GORDONMIESTER THE HERO OF CONTEMPORARY HORROR 💎🥸👍
Put a big bag of ice on that & watch a couple hours of C-Span, it will stop throbbing after a bit ,,😂
the noises-off in ‘the blood bog’ were perfect including the timing - the gong was perfect. what a yucky tale. LOL 🌹🌺
The Day They All Forget, what a deliciously terrible little story. Disgusting and terrifying, thank you sir
The Blood Bogs was short but intense. All great stories.
Ian, these are BRILLIANT. Only trouble is, I've become so conditioned to fall asleep to your dulcet tones, that I've fallen asleep before I get halfway through, several times now haha... I'll let you know when I make it through :)
A man should only have so much talent.
Stop it
Ha! I'm sure you'll get there eventually...!
Here's your brother 😊
This is wonderful!! Thank you so much! ❤️
2:24:53 I like the link to some of your other stories. I heard the quote and was like, "I heard that before!"
It's always great when listeners pick up on the little things!
@HorrorBabble I like how that story had link upon link as I listened on.
Half man half horse with 3 legs? Can you imagine running into this thing in the prison shower? Nightmare fuel!!!
Aisle 22 is such a weirdly fun story!
Very unique 🎉
Another evening of peaceful listening, you have a gift sir, thank you for sharing it.
The blood bog is the scariest story yet!!❤
Pockets is CRAZY because of how it just stays unresolved
This thumbnail is one of the best yet!!!
Thanks for this, I am listening to the 1st book, and then I will listen to this one. Thanks for all your hard work.
One needn’t though, right? They are all separate pieces. Don’t get me wrong, I love the themed playlists. 🎃
@@Bbergster Agreed. I just like to do that. Did not do that for Star Wars as not a fan...
New to these stories.
Binging❤😮😊
Thank you!
Your Lovecraft narration is next level.. so i was excited to see that you write your own stories too. They dont disappoint! Cant wait for the next ones!
Great short stories! Professionally prepared, presented , produced Podcast. Congratulations to you and your support staff! Thank You.

Thank you!
Excellent as always. Very good. Thank you Mr. Gordon and Horror Babble. Until next time.
you're getting me through an all nighter college assignment, bless you good sir
I needed to get up but was so engrossed in pockets I had to finish great great stories.roll on to night 😮
Cleanup on Aisle 22 was good fun :D
Fell asleep listening to this and woke up at 3:30am to the blood dancers doing the blood dance
Oh dear…!
@@HorrorBabble I'm re-listening now. That particular story reminds me of the CIA testing LSD on unsuspecting towns.
Pockets reminds me a lot of some personal experience and I loved the twist at the end. Thanks for these great stories sir.
The Day They All Forgot was directly inspired by that particular experiment.
Pockets was inspired by certain childhood experiences. Thank you for listening!
Love horror babble.one of fave out of so many on u tube.these stories are great. ❤
These were wonderful, thank you!
Fantastic work!!!
That was fantastic...thank you!
I didn't know you wrote as well as narrated stories, and what's more the stories you write are really good! Such a talented guy.
That's kind of you to say. Thanks!
I've been briefly pickled a time or two. It's never fun, I can assure you, when someone smashes you to the floor while you're in such a state.
One of the stories reminds me of Creepshow and of one W.S. Burrough's works, albeit in a completely different context, but similarly surreal. I won't name the Gordon or Burrough stories to preserve the element of surprise, but 'tis a well written vignette. Kudos, Mr. Gordon!
Thank you!
Great short stories! Professionally prepared…… etc…..😄
Excellent narration 👍
excellent work once again
Pockets was awesome one of the best in you are great and Jennifer thank you so much🎉❤
Fantastic collection, Ian!
Home run! Only 35 minutes in but... The thing gets a double barrel almost point blank from a dude named Crowley. Two thumbs up -- Just the clue I was looking for ;) Got 3 of his books open in other tabs. LOVE IS THE LAW, LOVE UNDER WILL ... And much love for your work, Mr. Gordon.
Why did he not have a gun😮
@@Angela-cc1hd Cuz Crowley had one first.. lol
I look forward to seeing the results!! Lazer Pants is a G!!
I enjoyed the stream guys!
😁👍
This whole channel is quality. Good job
👍x 10! Thank you Ian and Jennifer! I love the compilation and variety of these spine-tingling tales! I've heard your read of 'Pockets' before, but this time I was entranced! Awesome work!
Thanks as always!
Another fine job Mr Gordon ❤❤
Absolutely fabulous ❤❤❤thank you 🙏
Finding this made my Sunday!!
Dude, you're wiggin me out!!!
You fool. Warren works from home on mondays!
Pockets is what Interstellar should have been.
It may be a quarter to 3 in the afternoon but... that's no excuse not to listen to Mr. Gordon work his wordsmithing magic. I must say... I'm curious about who Ian Gordon the man is and how his mind works. The choices of work narrated, etc -- Makes me curious as to just what his thoughts/opinions are about some of the weirder things that go on in the real world. Maybe I can pick up a few more clues by listening to work you yourself have written. Regardless, I'll enjoy all the same. Many thanks and much obliged, Mr. Gordon.
Amazing narration as always!
May the algorithm be forever on your side sir!
I'm so excited!
IAN!!! 🥺💘🥺💘🥺💘🥺💘🥺💘🥺
Anybody else think the killer is that super chipper guy who wanted to team up with the narrator in the warehouse in "cleanup in aisle 22"?
Have you ever covered who goes there by John W. Campbell? It's what "the thing" was based on. A story about arctic researchers who find a spaceship and a frozen alien.
People ask about it every now and then. It isn’t in the public domain.
@@HorrorBabble ok
Please tell me you named the chickens after Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler from Stranger Things 😂
Ha!
always the best. thanks for sharing your talent. 😱
P.S. if you thought the pickle aisle was horrific....you should see the machine where they crush all the boxes after getting their product out onto the shelves!
I used to work in a supermarket... The warehouse was a pretty spooky place!

Blooood!
Blood for the blood bog!
Really enjoying this so far.. although I've just finished the toy makers.. tbh that story gives me the fear lol.. had a right good old shudder at the end. Onto Awake now. These stories are fantastic so far. Awesome work as always thank u HB team u have been my favs for a few years now 🙂
Thanks for listening!

DOPE
The hands give me strong gollum vibes.
Christmas came early this year! 🎀🎅🎄🎁❎🐙🍄🐙🎀
Anyone else have problems with the recording during the second story? The volume would decline then suddenly jump back up to the previous level. It could be my earphones, but it was around 43:00-44:00.
I've just listened to that section and all seems to be okay at this end. Strange.
I need more information on "It's Your Turn, Joey".
What is the Anderson family special?
What an excellent reading voice.
Thank you!
I don’t understand the story Awake at all. Can I get that one explained to me please?

I thought the Brits called their yards gardens.
If you're lucky enough to have a big yard, then it's a garden! My external space growing up belonged to a terraced house -- just enough room for a shed and some potted plants.
that pockets one is similar to the movie interstellar 🤔
It is, albeit unintentionally (I think)!
Its chewsday ininnit😂😂😂
Have you ever tried hypnosis?
Listening from the ukwales❤

I would love to know which narrators are your favorite?
I don't listen to many these days unfortunately, but I've always liked Garrick Hagon and Craig Wasson, to name a few.

Ha!
Can someone tell me the title of the story about a radio that summons outer space creatures and that ends with the main character shooting at the radio? I'm losing my mind
A story we recorded?
@@HorrorBabble yes! I can only remember that the main character was invited in this dark room where he was seated with the man who built the radio, when turned on the radio summoned creatures and that ended with the mc shooting at the radio, while the other man disappeared alongside his servants (one because she turned on the light)
@@HorrorBabble found it! It's From Beyond by H. P. Lovecraft, i was going crazy!
