I was thinking about Mako reactors. They must be super inefficient at generating power if there are 8 of them for a city that small. I was in nuclear power in the Navy. Those reactors go for decades without the need for refueling. Mako must just be slightly reactive (or whatever they want to call it) in order to make power.
Try looking into pairing Deadly Dodge with Hp Absorption bro. It could help with healing, maybe. Since it's harder with no items. Actually, you do need to break the boxes. In Hard mode, Items cannot be used and rest spots only restores HP, which encourages players to use tactics that requires minimal to moderate amount of MP. However, you still can restore MP by collecting mako shards and completing certain events, so keep an eye out for Shinra boxes and break them since they may have mako shards.
FFVIIR Intergrade comes out in a month for PS5 (free for us owners prior to the PS+ Freebie). I wonder what the extent of "You can transfer your Save file to it" means; maybe auto-trophies 🤔 I won't mind replaying it at 120fps but I don't know how thrilled to redo the Hard Mode I am. I just hope Yuffie's Chapter is worth it.

Lucky that the game refills my HP and MP at the beginning of each chapter. I thought I have to manage the MP throughout the game. 😂
