Happy Memorial Day, Beth. Hope you had a great weekend. Your peonies are beautiful and they brought back so many happy memories. My mother had peonies in her garden when I was growing up. They had come from an old family friend. When my mother passed way a few years ago, my sister transplanted the flowers to her yard. When her daughter bought her own home, they transplanted some of the flowers to her yard. We would love to transplant some to my yard, but we’re just not sure if they would survive the hot summers down here in south Texas. My sister and niece live in N Illinois.💕
What a gorgeous legacy to share! I wonder if an herbaceous peony might be right. There’s a great peony garden at the University of Michigan. They might know if there’s a variety that could survive the heat. 💖💖💖 they don’t love being transplanted so it can take a while for them to get settled. They live nearly forever after that. I’m a maniac for them-they bring me so much joy 🤩
@@InfinitegardenbyBethKI should do some research and find out of there’s a peony that would survive our awful heat and humidity! They are such a beautiful flower. Have a great week, Beth!

Congratulations on your peonies, Beth - they’re beautiful! Mine are about a week away from blooming and I’m so eager for that. Had to laugh when Chewy was snoring because my Shih Tzu, Gravy, is snoring next to me while I watch. 🐾 I enjoyed this peek inside your daily makeup bin - the chatty, laid back format was relaxing to watch.

If I recall, you also like to organize your handbag interiors. My mother is like that-everything in the right place. I feel like I’m really just a bucket kind of organizer. My purse is always just a free for all, but I know exactly what’s in there. I know this would drive some people nuts, but for me there’s a little freedom in the curated bucket.

I have issues with the Kosas packaging too! I can hardly open my powder and going to aggressive results in damaging the tab. The new blushes are super cute but I can’t deal with the Kosas packaging. You’ve convinced me that I have to try Jones Road. Perhaps next winter.
Okay, so it’s not just me!? I have to say the Jones Road packaging is A1: glass, metals, woods. She has limited the plastic and the product packaging functions. It’s functional design and her colors are tasteful. I’m vibing with what she’s doing.
