While physical attraction may be important, it absolutely can not and should not outweigh other things such as character, etc. Because our physical appearance changing is INEVITABLE. So if you take a vow in marriage, "for better or worse, til death do you part", you're ultimately lying if you can't accept that physical appearance changes. It's terrible that some can't get past surface and vain things.
To show respect for your husband: 1. Don’t put him down. 2. Don’t put him down or embarrass him in front of others. 3. Honor his wishes even when decides something you don’t agree with. 4. Praise him for all good he does. 5. Appreciate and thank God continually for him. Be a godly wife and trust God to make him a godly husband. ♥️
Blasphemy! God doesn't force salvation its a choice. This has no reward in heaven. You can do this and still go to hell. Marriage is not blasphemy.

Amazing.... as a 60+ woman I remember growing up we as young girls were taught by our mothers and grandmothers how to respond appropriately to the male of the species to prepare for marriage regarded God's biblical essence and order etc.. truth be told, the origins redefining/diminishing of the male is in Gen 3.... with the first recorded excuses for disobedience are Victim and Ignorance from generation to generation especially in the West....I'm sooo very thankful for this conversation...

We have to know who we are with/in The Lord are we will continue to act out from our soul... Our own Mind, Will, and emotions. We can't help our King/Queen if we are not mature and secure within ourselves.

I'm sorry but it's beyond disappointing to see that Tomi Araiyomi is so easily approving of this "marriage advice". His return is at the corner and you guys still not get it. A wife I( or a husband) is NOT a project. Jesus did not just gather information on his bride and then go on to doing some other work because one project was over. And asking tht women should just kinda line up to their needs for "freedom" is plain out umbilical. This does not lineup with ephes 5.

So I listened to everything, I seek answers. I got married unknown to me what I was doing, I was very naive, it was whatever my hubby I did, to the point I lost my vision, because I didn't know self when I got married, my hubby got drunk with work and no passion/attention for me, even when I communicated to him but he called it nagging. 3years into marriage he lost his job, and chose to come show me love , but I was already far gone emotionally. He started assaulting even when I became the bread winner of the house, I became like a man, while he argued and said I dnt respect him anymore. I was just a naive peaceful girl who became tough, learnt to secure myself because he wasnt giving me all forms of security since day one of marriage, 8years into this, I have found myself, though hes still struggling, i have become more of a solution in businesses but disconnected in heart from me, I have become bitter, angry, that It seems I cnt breathe around him. I asked we get separated so I get myself away from the toxic place I have become used to and now in a body I dnt like, but he doesn't want to separate, I dnt want divorce but I need to get myself coz I hate how I've being treating him due to 8years of bad experience in marriage, m so confused now, that I dnt even want to go home..I need help pls
Girl if you know what is good for you DIVORCE that man before you lose your sanity. This is the problem with alot black women, they feel there is no option once they leave the man driving them CRAZY. You married the wrong man ACCEPT your mistake DIVORCE now or you will look back and REGRET. Jesus values your wellbeing and sanity over any so called bondage, you are presently thinking is marriage. Remember OSINACHI, she stayed and died. There is a man out there who will love and cherish you.
Hello my dear, if your husband is willing to attend counselling with you, I will advise you take a step towards this urgently. Pls ensure it is a trained Christian Marriage counsellor, adding prayers in your understanding and Holy Spirit. However, if your husband is violent towards you, then act fast. May God direct you in Jesus name.

Hey Sis...I think the Lord led me down here to read your comment. It sounds like your desire is for your marriage to be healed. So I'm not bringing any condemnation by saying that God HATES divorce (Malachi 2:16) and so do we.
I'm trying to bring this encouragement: if God hates it, then He will do everything that His daughter asks Him to do to defeat it.
I pray that the Lord gives you a husband who has been transformed into the image of Messiah. And I know He will do it.
