the anime is a little to colorful and bright for the song, the song is dreary magical twilight... of the sorts.
thanks for your comment! I don't entirely disagree with you. The aesthetic approach I took was definitely with high contrast in mind. A more subdued color palette with desaturated color would probably have fit the song a bit better. But in the end, I'm pretty satisfied with how this looks visually.
