I’m asian and every time i buy something for my mom, she would compliment it and then ask me how much i paid for it. I would then turn around and walk away.
Parents be mad that u spending lots of money on them that they think "they dont need" or can "find cheap cheap" but then again at the same time they happy af and proud that their children care about them and buy them the good stuff that they won't or can't buy for themselves thus showing it off to their friends- Cause they want to show off that their kids care about them enough to spend lots of money on them.
