You should try Dutch pancakes and mini pancakes, we call them poffertjes. Also, if you do visit thr Netherlands, try fresh made and store bought stroopwafels. And don't forget stamppot boerenkool (kale that has cooked along with potatoes. Diced bacon cubes and a nice sausage called a rookworst) oh and a rookworst from a big well known chain store called HEMA, they sell them at a small kiosk inside. Love you guys

There’s a place in Door County Wisconsin called Al Johnson’s Swedish restaurant and butik. It’s in Sister Bay way up the peninsula. They make a Swedish pancake, all the food is really good. The best part is the place has grass growing on the roof and when the weather is nice they have billy goats on the roof that eat the grass
I wonder how difficult the language barrier makes things. I know a lot of written things like signs and menus have at least some English on them but what about talking to employees or just people in general you might need to communicate with.
