Yuanjing Audio Soft-Start Module: The Missing Manual / Soft-Start a Variac

I bought a Yuan-Jing Audio X-JM0016A Soft-Start Module to keep my big red Variac from blowing the circuit breaker when I turned it on. But the documentation was poor to non-existent. This video describes how the the thing works and what you have to do to use it.
