    Very beautiful! If any of my friends were to buy a entry level Tag-Heuer, I'll convince them to buy a Christopher Ward instead. In my opinion, Christopher Ward watches are better looking than Tag's watches, also the quality of what you're paying for is unbeatable.

      Thanks for watching! I agree, the value of the CW brand is very high. I've personally never been a fan of Tag, though they do make some really cool chronographs, like the 1/1000 Mikrotimer.

    I own the 43mm black dial, red bezel. I love it😎

      Michael Clonts the black and red combo was a close runner up. between black, white and black/red, there's some really good options. Thanks for watching!

    I got myself the sh21 version of this from ebay. It's a 2019 original purchase but a limited edition with this 'vintage' logo.
    It's currently running at +0.5 per day (max).

    No idea why they changed the logo from this. The old logo and positioning looked 10x better.

    I have that white dial, too. You got one one of the earlier ones, mine has the serial number in the 3000's. Do you still have it? I'll never let go of mine. I wanted the Vintage variant but they're hard to come by. I guess no one wants to let those go either.

    I just bought the 38 mm version and it's in the mail. 2 things I've been hearing : #1 the crown digging into the wrist can be sharp and annoying. #2 that the lume is average at best. You said it's good in your review. Do I always have to charge the lume to have it last for hours ? Or can it charge via ambient lighting ? Example : normal office lighting or sunlight when you're at the park. Thanks Walt

    • @EsVee650
      @EsVee650  7 лет назад

      I haven't noticed any irritation from the crown, though i have noticed the crown edge can excoriate my thumb from screwing it back in. You have the 38mm version so wrist irritation should be even less of a factor.
      I stand by what I said, the lume performs well. Of the watches I've seen personally, it definitely has competitive lume. I have others that are better, and I have plenty that are worse. In my experience very few watches have lume that performs well without charging or direct sunlight. The Trident is on the dressy side of diving watches and I think it that category it is a strong performer. I think you'll be happy with your purchase.
      Side note - if you're interested in strong lume, check out Armida or tritium watches. Thanks for watching and contributing!

      I've got a 38mm and yes, the crown digs into my hand. And yes, the lume is average. You have to intentionally charge it. Ambient lighting hasn't done much for my piece.

      Michael Jenks I've had the watch for 2 months (38 mm) and the crown doesn't dig into my wrist but i wear it right above the wrist bone . The lume is OK but it's adequate . Beautiful watch !

      Awesome. Glad it works for you! It's a great watch, I just got used to the crown. I still wear it all the time :)

    It looks like you might have an older version of the bracelet. The latest has a ratchet locking mechanism instead of micro adjust and the new flag stamp on the clasp. The ratchet lock was a factor with my decision to pick up the red GMT 38mm.

      I ordered mine shortly after release so definitely possible. A ratcheting bracelet would have been great. Thanks for watching!

    Wish it was in 40 or 41 mm and with a completely brushed bracelet. Nice watch though

    Great review! I have this same watch with the black face and I love it. Do you think you'll try any NATO straps or keep it on the bracelet?

    • @EsVee650
      @EsVee650  7 лет назад

      Drago Taunts It took a long time for me to decide between white or black face, they're both beautiful. went with white because I didn't have any yet at the time. I've tried a black NATO, but for me the bracelet just goes so well I think it's staying.
      Thanks for watching!

    Oooooo you should never set the date between 9-3 , you could seriously damage the movement that way. Honest mistake that I think you caught yourself doing, I've made that mistake also

    • @EsVee650
      @EsVee650  5 лет назад

      Well spotted, can't believe I did that as I'm very familiar with the rule. Thats why I started with the time out of the 9-3 range but then I messed it up later. I was focused on the video apparently. Still working great so it seems unscathed, currently on my wrist. Thanks for watching!

      Great review. I love much more this older version with the logo at 12. I think that the logo at 9 is killing the design of the dial
      What is the rule with the 9-3? I have never heard about it. Thanks for your answer it will avoid me killing my movements ;-)

    May I ask what size of your wrist, sir? Thinking about the 38 vs 43mm

    • @EsVee650
      @EsVee650  7 лет назад

      Tung Le I believe 7.25". I could have done the 38mm no problem

    • @r.i.p6569
      @r.i.p6569 7 лет назад

      Walt P do you think 38mm is too small, sir? I have small wrist which is 6.2" only. but I am wearing 42mm and guess my eyes get used to that size, so I am not sure about the 38mm

    • @EsVee650
      @EsVee650  7 лет назад +1

      Tung Le 38mm should be Greta for you. It depends if you want it to look sporty or dressy. Small is dressier.

      Tung Le I have 6.75 wrist and love the trident I bought a 38 and it looks small but you quickly get used to it. I bought the sh21 version and sold the 38 and I find the larger more comfy. but there is not much difference these are nice watches either way
