Dry stone bridge built in Gloucestershire. From start to finish. I have no rights on the soundtrack taken from True Romance Your're So Cool Done by Hans Zimmer. Here is the original video • Video
When i built this bridge i was out of work, so i did it for free at my parents house, i didnt believe for one minute id have this many views, likes and more importantly coments! thank you all for your appreciation of my work! it really does mean alot to me!
It is not. There are no fundaments. So it looks nice until water erodes the soil under the bridge and everything just falls in the water. Making sure that water cannot undercut the structure is a must when building one on a river.

This dry stone bridge is art. The arch the vertical stone offset the amazing paver slabs which go out of bounds with their overhanging edges. Stunning.
There is just something so special about raw stone prescribing a semi circle... I love this ! When I pass rocky hills I often dream about rearranging those random rocks into beautiful shapes like Gaudi did... cathedrals etc. Inspirational work !

That is absolutely beautiful craftmanship. Your parents should be thankful they have a son who is not afraid of hard work, and is so talented. Believe me, working in stone is hard work. Once again, really a beautiful bridge. Thanks for sharing.

The former is sat on levelled bricks. Once i built all the way over and built the sides up a bit to give it a bit of weigh i knocked the bricks out, the former dropped and i slid it out. Its a simple but effective process..
This is one of the most beautiful bridges and an work of art that have ever seen! I would so love to have something like this in my yard, it is truly magical!!
Beautiful magic of arch. Stones are placed in Arch ive, using folder-shaped stones. Bridge Arch itect knows that top surface is also an arch but much larger and never flat. It is all about the feeling. Great video
I find this design and craftsmanship one of the most beautiful hand made things in recent times anywhere. I wish I could experience it in person, truly elegant and impressive.
