What a clever idea. I have been looking for low cal alternatives for mince pies, I love them. I don’t do slimming world, but I don’t want to be eat 4000 cals a day in the lead up to Christmas. I did find tiny pies a Asda that about 115 cals. Love your beautiful accent. Thanks for the great idea. 🤩

Another idea I had was to make mince pie pinwheels (spread a wrap with the mince pie filling, roll it and then slice into pinwheels then bake) 😊 please let me know what you think once you make them! @@ScottishFoodieLassie I hope you’re feeling better. I made 2 of the mince pies tonight, I used milk instead of egg and sprinkled some cinnamon on top. They were delicious. I will try the pinwheel idea. Thanks for the idea. I was thinking might make one with lemon curd for a lower cal lemon tart.
What a smashing idea Denise, I have never thought about doing this. I will definitely get some mince meat this week and have a go. (I think I need the round crimper gadget 🤣) I had an Aldi mince pie yesterday which was 10 1/2 syns 🙈🙈the wraps will be more more filling though. Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

@@ScottishFoodieLassie Ha Ha, yes I did enjoy it, it was blooming lovely, I did warm it up though as I do not like them cold. I saw there is a mincemeat baked oats recipe on SW online/app so I will be giving this a go too as soon as I get some. I do baked oats a lot as I cannot eat much in the morning so I make 4 small ones in the Ninja and graze on them throughout the day. Nothing exciting apart from Strictly 🤣. I hope you had a lovely weekend, do you go into hospital soon? xx
