I figured out how to do the job in my 1994 Terrano. 1/ jack up wheel with jack under swing arm 2/ remove split pin and castle nut in lower ball joint, leave nut on, flush with end of thread 3/ get another jack and put some pressure under ball joint nut 4/ give side of ball joint housing a few hard hits with a decent hammer, the joint should pop free. 5/ Remove 4 bolts holding top of ball joint on. 6/ Nissan design team obviously didn’t allow any mechanics in the room, so the ball joint hits the cv joint when attempting removal. With an Allen key or socket, remove only the auto hub, NOT the main hub. Remove the snap ring from the splined driveshaft and slide it off with the 2 washers it holds. Put these in correct order and orientation onto the auto hub. 7/ With one thumb pushing on the drive shaft, pull/swing the hub assy outwards, until the CV joint has moved past the loose ball joint. It will wiggle out, depending on how you hold your tongue. Slide the new ball joint in using the same method.

Yes. But you replace all front spindle axle and lock hub. But for me its too expensive.
Whether by changing from automatic to manual hubs,Can I lock the differential manually with hand?
