The quality of the architecture, construction, and building materials in this house makes it a true mansion and not just an ugly, ill-proportioned, low-quality McMansion. It’s nice to see a relatively newer looking house that is an actual mansion and not a McMansion.
I'm watching this from the Memphis, TN area. We don't have many double digit million $$$ mansions in the area. It's sad to see this one just sitting. It would be great to see someone get a hold of it and tackle that mold in the pool room because it's going to spread thru the entire house soon or maybe it has. I love that you shared the pictures of what it looked like before it was vacated. It's a beautiful home and just needs some love.
Theres a HUGE mansion over here in texas that's just abandoned and sitting there. It's called "bear springs ranch" and it literally looks like a millionaire's home. No one knows what happened there though ...
Do tell more I’m interested why would one leave that behind? Always curious why people would leave their expensive furniture behind especially in these abandoned mansions. Do they still get paid out for stuff left behind?
In BC we can look up public records of property assessments to see current values. Ontario may have the same thing. So sad to see all that beautiful furniture left behind. So many rooms you missed some. I'm yelling at the screen "go back, go back" 🤣 What a gorgeous place.

You would think with an expensive house like this that somebody would at least be a caretaker. I doubt if they could sell it for 10.5 million because of the mold. It probably takes so much to get the mold removed. I love the skylights, the staircases, and the circular railing where you can look down on the center of the place. Nice explore! Many thanks from Germany. With the lights in the sunset this mansion has a really cozy and homely atmosphere. The absolutely point of shame is the indoor pool area. Why haven't the owner the water pumped off the pool? The mould is crawling trough the substance. I can't understand this easygoing. It's a own goal. On this kind of behaviour there is no way possible to get this demanding price. Be careful Dave. Health is never to replace worth of any monetary treasures.

The curtains in the media room may have helped absorb sound. If they had music instruments, they might have left them behind the curtain when not in use. Maybe they liked to put on plays. Who knows! 😀

That’s an amazing house. The master bathroom is bigger than my apartment. Is there something they can do to save the swimming pool and surrounding rooms from the mold? Like how deep does that go? Just if they ripped off the walls and surface, re-did them, drained the pool and treated it? Surely for a 10 million dollar home that would be worth it, no?

The furniture is left for insurance reasons. With a sofa and bed frame left so it’s basically furnished.
