Actually, @@davidgpo , and anyone else out there tearing their hair out 🤣 I tried 5 different very sticky tapes here (even duct tape!), none of them worked. Here is another method! ruclips.net/video/PYLDgraoEc8/видео.html
I had good luck separating layers by licking my fingers and rubbing the tape until the moisture broke apart the paper layer and I could peel off the sticky layer
I soaked the end of the tape in some water for a minute, and was able to get it to separate (after nearly driving myself bananas trying to separate it!)...thanks for your tip.
thank you for this, it was very helpful! i was growing pretty frustrated trying to set up my new box!
I'm glad this was helpful, thanks for watching!
You are a lifesaver. I was confounded by the packaging and your trick worked to separate the two tapes!
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are so welcome!
I don’t believe there is any record on the internet of what filmoplast looks like up close. Or before and after pictures using it for a repair.
I think it's the best repair tape ever! Thanks for watching!
@@davidgpo I’ve heard! The reviews say it’s the best. Do you have any before and after videos that show closeups?
@@HyperionBadger I'm sorry I don't have any close ups of the tape. My camera doesn't get that close.
This is not repaired. Looks very cheapest tape and awful
On this video perfectly seems is tape not clear transperent, have a white color - restored paper more faded
The tape dispenser on the box will help keep these separated. 😉
Yes, it keeps them separated but the hard part is that first use where you have to start the separation. Thanks for watching!
You deserve a commission ! many thanks 😂
Your viewing my videos and providing nice comments is payment enough. Thanks!

I'm ready to send mine back. Can't get it separate. The box came smashed. No "cutting" tool. At this point I feel it is a waste of time and $.
Sorry to hear this. Once you get a good roll and get the tape off the backing it mends paper very well!
This is nothing like the filmoplast I use . I buy the roll . No backing just heat activated .
I was not aware of the heat activated version.
