I still work for a tow truck company on the side Matt. You may want to check into AAA plus with all the driving you do. It will cover you for a 100 mile tow, lock outs, flat tire change Jumpstarts and gas (2 gallons usually). I pay for it for my kid cause she is always traveling cross country. Peace of mind. The first year we used it on a 100 mile tow. She was almost home ! Plus it covers any car you are in. So if you are with your dad it would cover his car.
@suedefringe is spot-on. AAA Plus for the absolute win! I drove for AAA back in college. I’ve had AAA Plus ever since. It’s all of $86 dollars and you can use it on anyones car, as long as you’re present. I would even more so recommend if driving an older/ high mileage or classic car.
Another fan of AAA here too. Though I have a different company for actual insurance I have used my AAA membership for towing, dmv services, misc other perks since 1987. They rock!
OMG! IKR to your car breaking down while garage saleing. We were out on Fri, car died. Had it towed home. Next day we took our other car & went out again - guess what? IT DIED, TOO! 2 cars in 2 days. One got fixed, 2nd one still waiting. No one was hurt, so God took care of us. Both people whose houses we were stranded at were SO NICE to us, and truly blessings to us. Hopefully you were just as blessed in your situation!❤
It is so amazing to me how some people want eBay pricing at Garage sales. Then they cant understand why their items never sell. Love seeing my fellow Resellers making a Killing - Good Stuff! 😄 😄 😄
The problem is they know what the stuff is worth, but they don’t have the reach and convenience that eBay does, so they most likely won’t have any luck. They might as well part with it or get their own eBay account. Lol
You paid $500 for the towing. The reel to reel is worth $500❣ I adore your channel and your family. I've been watching PTP for a few months. Born and raised in the Bay Area. Lived in both San Leandro and Hayward. When you guys are out at garage sales I try to see if I can recognize any of the neighborhoods. When I lived in San Leandro I would go to the Oakland Coliseum flea market at least 3 times a week. Always my favorite place to shop. I sold on ebay for 18 years, starting in 2001. I get such joy watching your video's. Great content. I'm learning a lot from you. Thank you ❣
Matt, I and others with hearing problems would be grateful if you and Kayla would position comps higher on the screen so they aren’t blocked by closed captions. Thanks! You’re the best.
Hello, I love your videos and the ones that make me smile is the ones with your wife in them. I even noticed you are so much happier when she is with you. And the both of you have so much fun. Tell your wife we miss her. And good luck with the yard sales and flea markets. Have a great day.
That's a bummer about the car but what a crazy price for a tow. Other folks have already given you advice, so I'll refrain. What a cool reel to reel player. A nice find and cool vintage. I also like the sharks sweatshirt and the bike tire holders! Nice to turn your day around (or at least your weekend). I hope the kids loved the new net!
Nice find on the reel to reel. I found one of those visiting my parents in phoenix at there community garage sale. I got it for $20. I had to fly back home a few days later, so I packed it up there and gave them instructions how to ship it. Ended up selling it for $450 within a week.
My starter went out at a garage sale last Saturday AAA took me to the auto parts store and I use there tools. I was back garage sailing in an hour. But I was no longer the first one there.
Wow Matt!! What great scores! You really made out on that one! Sorry about your truck butttt I do remember you saying that is why you resell so you have money to set aside for expenses like what happened to your truck and vacations and things so thank goodness for that reel to reel you picked up! I love your videos I wish you uploaded more often. Say hey to mrs ptp and the kiddos! See ya next time! 💕
On the net you told the man you paid 50.00 on Amazon then you turned around and told him you paid 40.00 for a new net I’m surprised he didn’t catch you as you said it .
Awesome deals today Matt.. The first sale seemed like that guy didn't want to wheel and deal with his high ah prices.. Hopefully you get your truck fixed so that doesn't happen again anytime soon..😳 Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾🤗🤙
You should think about researching the Patagonia models before listing. You undersold that Orange 'Houdini Air' jacket, as they go for $70+. The Blue Snap T is also a less common '40th Anniversary' style that they only made for 1 season and those go for like $70-100.
You should definitely get tow coverage. My insurance company covers the first 50 miles with my policy. It's saved me a lot of money over the years because I buy cheap used cars and do minor repairs myself, major repairs with my uncle's help.
You should definitely get AAA. It’s worth it! I’ve even got both of my kids on my plan. Could possibly write it off as a business expense as well! Now that I think of it I’m going to tell my CPA and write it off of mine too! Lol great pickups as always 👍🏻
Sweet score on the vintage Sony. Met someone putting on a garage sale today who watches your channel too here in Michigan. I thought that was pretty cool!
I bought Legos for 25 years and always tried to negotiate everything they had out plus the kids toy box under the bed which has all the missing pieces plus K'nex, coins, gum wrappers and whatever. Giant sorting jobs, but very profitable.
It’s always funny to be when we make offers and people are bent set on keeping their price. Then they never sell them and they just sit in their garage.
You should get AAA membership with the premium plan. It offers a 200 mile toll and then 100 miles. Not sure of the total number of tows. It runs around $150 per year. It's a deal.
You done very well on all clothes you got 😮 and wow 🎉🎉 oh wow !! 🎉🎉🎉 on that. Vintage stereo type with speakers etc, for what 30,,00 bucks yes you did 👍 enjoyed video😊
Get AAA road service, the premier plan. Only a hundred and something per year and that tow would have been free. And you can get it even if you don"t have insurance through them. I got towed about 150 miles once over a holiday, and it cost me nothing except a 20- tip for the driver.
AAA is the way to go - I actually have RV coverage with extended toe , so I can get a flatbed for my Vespa ... all kinds of perks , well worth the $170 a year I pay in Southern California.... I also have my insurance coverage with them, multi-car discount, they actually pay claims, easily... unlike many other insurance companies that just want to wiggle out of responsibility...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES
I will never buy another Chevy again!!! Having all kinds of problems with my 2017 Chevy Traverse that cost me $2000 over the past two months!!! And I’ve been a Chevy person my whole life! Never had all these things go wrong with a 5 year old vehicle. I think I have a trans problem now so I’m trading it in & buying the Ford F-150 I wanted to begin with. My son has a 2011 F-150 & has had none of the aggravation Ive had with this Traverse. Can’t stand unreliable vehicles!!
Wow, that's a lot for a tow. I'm guessing you don't have road side assistance with your insurance. I've never paid out of pocket for towing. Good luck making that up. But have no doubt about it. Your an excellent reseller.
Matt, Cmon bro. You should’ve took care of that girl who gave you the Tom Tom. You could have thrown her at least $10 or 20 or something. That’s not cool brahdduh. You’re better than that. Jesus says it’s better to give than to receive.
I was going to suggest AAA, but I see others have already made the suggestion. I have the upgraded tier, but thinking of dropping down because I no longer drive for long trips.
I still work for a tow truck company on the side Matt. You may want to check into AAA plus with all the driving you do. AAA is the best investment you’ll ever make. The app is easy and the live customer support is excellent. Buy it today. You’ll thank me later.
its a no brainer due to cost as well. once you're a member for X amount of days they have an option for 300 mile range.
@@Golden.Buddha AAA PREMIER 😍 I thought that was 200 miles . But still ! Hella deal

We love the Colosseum swap meet. Thanks for watching!
Matt, I and others with hearing problems would be grateful if you and Kayla would position comps higher on the screen so they aren’t blocked by closed captions. Thanks! You’re the best.

I miss going out with her too. Hopefully she’ll be able to come out soon
There u go Matt...the $500 item find to overcome the towing. Great garage sales at the end
Great haul. Took care of the broken down car charge. AAA is the way to go.
That's a bummer about the car but what a crazy price for a tow. Other folks have already given you advice, so I'll refrain.

triple AAA my friend! my MIL bought my wife and I a membership a few years back and its been the best thing she's ever given us.
Incredible finds! I’ve been reselling part time for about 15 years I love it great side money
I’m watching old videos and love when Papa picker is on
Matt, I agree with suedefringe. I have relied on AAA for decades.
Sorry your car broke down! You are such a nice man and your wife is awesome, great finds today 😊
My starter went out at a garage sale last Saturday AAA took me to the auto parts store and I use there tools. I was back garage sailing in an hour. But I was no longer the first one there.
Bummer that your insurance doesn’t cover tows. You might want to add that to your coverage. Great picks today. Always love seeing your dad come along.
Wow Matt!! What great scores! You really made out on that one! Sorry about your truck butttt I do remember you saying that is why you resell so you have money to set aside for expenses like what happened to your truck and vacations and things so thank goodness for that reel to reel you picked up! Sorry about ur car breaking down, that sucks !! Great content as always, thought we might see Aletha in this one, but always glad to see your dad.
Great stuff. Thank you for the video. 💖 Sorry to hear about your vehicle.
Matt, you should consider AAA- it’s bailed me out many times! 🫠
Great haul!! Thanks so much for sharing 💜
Thanks for watching Sandy!
On the net you told the man you paid 50.00 on Amazon then you turned around and told him you paid 40.00 for a new net I’m surprised he didn’t catch you as you said it .
Love seeing Papa Picker 💙💖 wheeling and dealing out there. 😁😎
Awesome deals today Matt.. The first sale seemed like that guy didn't want to wheel and deal with his high ah prices.. Hopefully you get your truck fixed so that doesn't happen again anytime soon..😳 Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾🤗🤙
No sir not high prices, reasonable prices so glad he stood his ground.
"Reasonable prices" Matt couldn't nickel and dime this fella out of his stuff. Boo hoo.

A lot of other people have said it and I agree. You need to get AAA. It’s saved me multiple times over the last few years.
Great find as usual. I love the Posey Bank. TFS
Thanks for watching Martha!
Im glad he sold you the net for the kids. Great scores!!!!!! Im sorry about your car. Good luck~~~~~~~~~~
You should definitely get tow coverage. My insurance company covers the first 50 miles with my policy. It's saved me a lot of money over the years because I buy cheap used cars and do minor repairs myself, major repairs with my uncle's help.
Its kinda nice having family members there as second eyes.
It’s definitely nice. Thanks for watching ✌️
You’re always finding the awesome deals!👍
My insurance covers tows. It is only about 3-5 dollars extra on my policy per month. You definitely need to check on that. 500 is just crazy
That Sony reel to reel was an amazing find!
Man that interaction with the baseball guy was hard to watch lol. Just awkward to watch that negotiation.
That first guy…Wow! Keep pushing Matt!
Nice find in the end!! Hopefully everything is all good with your vehicle..keep up the good work
That tow truck company was a rip off at $500 for just an hour away.
Sweet $15 Patagonia combo scoop!
You should definitely get AAA. It’s worth it! I’ve even got both of my kids on my plan. Could possibly write it off as a business expense as well! Now that I think of it I’m going to tell my CPA and write it off of mine too! Lol great pickups as always 👍🏻
I’ll sign up for it. Thanks for watching ✌️
"90's"...feels like yesterday to me. 👴
Giant sorting jobs, but very profitable.
the Team Up with your dad is great. he is Always there to die the Smalltalk eben you need time to look things up or to breake the ice. nice Combo
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
It’s always funny to be when we make offers and people are bent set on keeping their price. Then they never sell them and they just sit in their garage.
Pretty good day. Enjoyed the video, you all have a good rest of your day, stay safe.😎👊
Noooo… not the car!! No towing insurance? Yea, AAA.
AAA a must especially with the wife and kids
*W@$$UP!!* Wow!! Not only great scores, You robbed the bank.
Sheeeeesoh, what finds! Sorry about the car but definitely rebounded from that well 👍
Get it fixed locally next time Matt. If you’re in the valley the fix would be way less than in your area
You should get AAA membership with the premium plan. It offers a 200 mile toll and then 100 miles. Not sure of the total number of tows. It runs around $150 per year. It's a deal.
Damn that much for tow thats crazy. Think I'd tried somewhere local autoshop and hoped it was nothing big. Maybe rent a car.
some of those cassette holders can profit more than the tapes in them;) Napa Valley is one to look for.
You done very well on all clothes you got 😮 and wow 🎉🎉 oh wow !! 🎉🎉🎉 on that. Vintage stereo type with speakers etc, for what 30,,00 bucks yes you did 👍 enjoyed video😊
Great video enjoy watching thank you for sharing
Hopefully, you listed that wooden cassette rack. If it's a Napa Valley, it's worth more than the tapes.
That's what I was here to say. Hah. I also describe them as holding Sega Genesis games. Perfect fit.
Sorry you broke down Matt. $500 to tow your vehicle back...you seriously need to get out of California!😊
I know the feeling 1 of them days where you wish you had AAA membership.
Triple A is your friend. Absolutely worth the low cost per year.
Yeah I signed up after this event
from the profit you good easy pay the bill for the demmage on your car!! your blessed i think!
The two little round things you picked up after purchasing the tape player gores to it. It holds the reels on
They were branded realistic. Thanks for watching ✌️
Get AAA road service, the premier plan. Only a hundred and something per year and that tow would have been free. And you can get it even if you don"t have insurance through them. I got towed about 150 miles once over a holiday, and it cost me nothing except a 20- tip for the driver.
5 bills for a tow ,scamming a scammer
Having your dad with you helps, he’s a good father…
I do love my boy, thanks for watching!
I remember that kings sweater, I use to have one. Wow!!

Dang $500 for the speakers!? That's a crazy good find!
Great finds. Thanks
AAA is the way to go - I actually have RV coverage with extended toe , so I can get a flatbed for my Vespa ... all kinds of perks , well worth the $170 a year I pay in Southern California.... We would love to see your wife and Parker.Your wife knows her toys.Keep up the excellent videos.
Yes we have AAA. But you could have rented a U haul with a tow bar cheaper than that!
Great score !
Yeah you need AAA !
what a deal on that bownet dang
Fantastic as usual Matt
Thanks for watching Ben!
Why don’t you have AAA? They are so good.
The 2 black things at 16:50 belong to the Sony reel2reel. They hold the reels in place.
I always pay extra for towing service. My 2000 Explorer is always needing help. Please, call your ins co., it’s cheap!!!
Awesome finds Matt.
Wow, that's a lot for a tow. I'm guessing you don't have road side assistance with your insurance. I've never paid out of pocket for towing. Good luck making that up. But have no doubt about it. Your an excellent reseller.
Good picking Matt ❤❤❤❤
Sorry about your car trouble. I empathize
You rocked it there.
Matt,
Cmon bro. You should’ve took care of that girl who gave you the Tom Tom. You could have thrown her at least $10 or 20 or something. That’s not cool brahdduh. You’re better than that. Jesus says it’s better to give than to receive.
once again, stepping in sh*t and finding GOLD! :-) That's the Matt that makes videos great again! LOL
Wow ! Great profit margins today .
I was going to suggest AAA, but I see others have already made the suggestion. I have the upgraded tier, but thinking of dropping down because I no longer drive for long trips.
Ouch , break downs sucks , but deff worse when ur so far away. Still got some nice stuff tho. Score on the free GPS lol
Thanks for watching!
I bought a very similar reel to reel machine from a gentleman last summer around this time. Worked great Made some healthy profit!
Nice ✌️
I always add roadside for with my insurance. But yes if not AAA
Holy Crap $500 for a tow...Get AAA it's so worth the money. Plus you can use it when you're in someone elses cars.
Covered the Tow 😁 Hi Grandpa ❤🐨🇦🇺
Hi back at ya, thanks for watching!
That rubbermaid/Gott gas can around 2:20 is worth picking up. Those sell for good money
Nice. Thanks for watching ✌️
AAA would have covered the tow. (100 miles) Great picks 😁
SO sorry about your vehicle Matt :(
