😳 How in the heck did someone sell an 8 pack of plain old grandpa undies for almost $100!?!? That is completely mind blowing 🤯 Those beefy white Hanes must have been woven together directly from the butts of silk worms found on the endangered species list. I can understand where the value in a lot of the stuff pickers post for sale comes from, but I'm totally baffled by the $93 price tag on the Hanes tighty-whiteys from 2003
Not really worth that, its what he listed it for... You have to subtract if it didn't sell and he had to lower prices. You have to subtract about 13-14% of the total for eBay and PayPal fees. You have to subtract any cost of fuel to drive to garage sales assuming he does. Subtract the cost of packaging supplies (a roll of bubble wrap is around 20 bucks and it goes quick) tape, boxes, etc. Plus his time to find and go to sales, time to package the stuff he sells, time to take pics and list it on eBay. Time it takes to take boxes to ups or FedEx (unless he does pickup) The space it takes up in his house, does his house look like a hoarders hellhole? Plus some stuff might take a yr to sell or never sell. So you wasted space for that long then lose a bit. So it seems easy like he's just buying some stuff and 15 mins later he's got 1300 bucks profit. Not saying he don't make money... I do this and have made good money... But it's not a simple as he tries to make it look in this video. Kind of misleading.
@@BabyJesus66 after seller fees and tax. Around 28$ week in gas. With Poshmark alone I only make around 650$ to 850$ each week. I know it isn’t much but I enjoy buying and reselling.

I was blown away. Another odd-ball thing along those lines, apparently old packs of diapers etc. (even open) sell for ridiculous amounts, $100+ for a pack.
I've had the same happen to me when I leave my bags down in a charity shop to free my hands, people don't know see the bag full of good ebay stuff and think they have hit the jackpot lol

@@kennyjwislon1 im aware of how retail works, there isn't this type of mark-up. Normally there is a 40-60% markup on resale over wholesale.
