While I agree with you I think this rhetoric also lets a lot of people off the hook. The president isn’t in charge of the city. There are people directly responsible for that and the president shouldn’t have to micromanage everything. Those who let this happen should lose their jobs, compensate people and be fined or jailed. People died and lost homes.
