Great job by the first due engine company. Well trained gang. Excellent job of making the stretch of the attack line and getting a supply line run and fast water. Tired of seeing slow motion firefighters in all regards especially getting water on the fire! Well done lads!👏🏻👏🏻👍👍
Thank you for your Service, Sir. My bio dad USAF (Tachekawa Japan right after Hiroshima and Nagasaki), step-dad of over 50 years - Retired Army Sergeant), older brother severely disabled since 1981 on his second Tour (I was 21, he was 23), Army, and I am the proud momma of a Soldier. Again, thank you for your Service. Much love and prayers to you and yours, from your eternal sister in Christ somewhere near Seattle. Stay safe and well, ok? ⚘🙏❤🙏⚘
So I just watched this video on RUclips some guy was filming from when the lady started the house on fire it was a garage fire until the house was completely fully involved guess how many minutes went by before the fire department even showed up 17 minutes. So years before GPS. Due to lack of personnel I got to be acting officer. Wish I was not. The guy was working on his car in the garage it backfired causing the entire house to catch on fire well before GPS it looked like I was coming in right on the house but I wasn't there was a canal in between let's just say when I did find my way to the house the division chief gave me like a 30 minute lecture. After we put the house fire out. That was 40 years ago and I can still remember the lecture on reading maps
As a retired fire fighter I saw my share of these types of fires. But do all of us a big favor pull over and give lots of room for it could be your place that they are going to. Also if you see any of these people just tell them thanks for what they do.
Kinda normal to me to be honest... There really wasn't a need to run per se, the tank water should easily knock down a fire like that. It's best not to trip or screw your shoulders up if the hose hangs up for some reason. Good way to tear a rotator cuff or something.
In the old days, a BOOSTER LINE would have had water on that fire in 30 seconds. Glad to see some departments going back with a booster line on trucks.
Yeah that's what I was thinking they were really fast nice old vintage fire trucks how old are they 1990s that first firefighter that came off that truck we had a firefighter at my fire department his nickname was Rocket Ray
Impressive. These firefighters actually move and not strole around like some do. That makes the difference between saving a building and total destruction.
Very impressive work by Santa Rosa. Good hustle getting that supply line laid to the hydrant. How long since you last saw a firefighter actually RUNNING while laying a line? Water on the fire in less than a minute. Visible fire knocked down within a minute and a half. These guys showed a sense of urgency not often seen.
Now that is the way to get it done. You all should be proud of the way you handled that call. One of the best first in company videos I have ever seen. Keep up the good work. Great hustle.
Impressive method of pulling the supply line and layout of the initial attack preconnect. They should promote this with a video, for other departments; to consider using.
WOW, THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE FASTEST TIME TO GET WATER ON A FIRE. I BET THAT WAS A GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS MOMENT. I WANT TO LIVE IN THAT TOWN. BRAVO, BRAVO FIRE DEPARTMENT
We have a large farm fire 2 day, just 7 miles from my house, with bad conditions, rapid fire spread, wind n dry weather for 9 days.... Thanks to 7 apparatuses, 25 fire crew's n 2 helicopters for water bombings they manages to contain the fire from the nearby fields.... It's still some fires yet..... 11 hours in.... But they have control over it now.... Took nearly 5 hrs to get on top of it.... Great work of the crew's.....
LOVE seeing trucks with booster lines!!! Today I see men stretching out lines and having to run around to keep them from kinking. Old days we would have just pulled off that booster line and had water on fire in 30 seconds and you could knock down a lot of fire with a booster line till bigger lines came on line.
Amazing on the Santa Rosa fire, FF's are actively pulling hoses and smoke billowing from the facility...and some nudge drives in to take a look. Great to see, still, a CVPI!
Santa Rosa Fire Department doesn’t play games. Most of my family is around that area and I have friends working as Firefighters in that area. I know this location too. Was just in that area last week saying final goodbye to my Sister because she passed away a month ago.
When a gas station in my town had smoke billowing out, I kid you not there were fire trucks from at least 8 different houses. Pennsylvania firefighters and Maryland firefighters. They got that shit whatever it was knocked down quick!
The first 5 minutes. When I saw those solar panels, I knew this building must be saved! Any building that is capable of generating it's own power deserve all the effort!
Is it demonstration or practical fire fighting? All types of Fire Engines were deployed in the contingent. So far I could recognise, these are water tender, Foam Tender, Gas tender
Excellent job by the first due engine crew, stretched and water flowing under a minute. Chief could have cancelled the Box with first engine handling. 👍
My dad was a Fireman 27 years and he always loved his job! He didn't want to do anything but help those in our community. My parents house was 2 blocks away from the FIRE STATION
I'm somewhat confused with this video? It shows a single gas pump on fire that has just caught the Deli next to it alight and then random Fire trucks,Police and Ambulances leaving their stations e.t.c some at night and some during the day...Surely not for the same fire
What’s a normal structure fire alarm for you guys? For me , there’s 6-8 chiefs (battalions, chiefs, assistants, deputy’s), 3 to 4 engines 3 to 4 medics 3 to 4 ladders of some sort and usually 1 or 2 squads
How much of this is over response and excessive billing to insurance companies? The boys and girls wanting to be part of the show! The help is crucial at the time but it seems so overblown so often!
Nice to finally see a crew arrive on the scene and get water on the fire without screwing around. -retired fire engineer
Yes and had gear on!

My Dad was was a Fire Chief in Warren Pennsylva, if he was alive he'd say great Job 🤠🇺🇸

Water on fire in under 1 minute! Holy shit! Beast mode fire dept. The driver running to make the main connection for water to hydrant was amazing 🇺🇸🥃
Kinda normal to me to be honest... There really wasn't a need to run per se, the tank water should easily knock down a fire like that. It's best not to trip or screw your shoulders up if the hose hangs up for some reason. Good way to tear a rotator cuff or something.
Shouldn't ever run on scene to be honest.
There was a jump in the video (fire fighter suddenly appears from nowhere). Water flow was not under a minute.
@@ffjsb you must be one of those jack offs who stands around and lets a small porch fire fully engulf the entire building!
um, the video was edited, so no, not under a minute
The urgency shown was excellent, well trained crew , very impressive,

Wow, no screwing around, down to business before the air brakes stopped hissing. Impressed!
I was kind of shocked that they were running! First time I have seen that on a firefighting video on youtube.
🙋♀️
Your words really said it all
Yeah that's what I was thinking they were really fast nice old vintage fire trucks how old are they 1990s that first firefighter that came off that truck we had a firefighter at my fire department his nickname was Rocket Ray
@@albertraschiatore7618 lmao! I picked up the moniker Smokeshowin' Owen. Looks like a dumpster with extension.
Excellent job. Got water on fire very quickly . Protected the exposures on the left nicely.
Impressive. These firefighters actually move and not strole around like some do. That makes the difference between saving a building and total destruction.

Water on the fire in less than a minute. Visible fire knocked down within a minute and a half. These guys showed a sense of urgency not often seen.
Guess that was impressively fast I've never seen anybody run off the truck like that. I thought this video was going to be a gasoline pump fire.
Now that is the way to get it done. You all should be proud of the way you handled that call. One of the best first in company videos I have ever seen. Keep up the good work. Great hustle.
I don’t normally get impressed with today’s lack of firefighting.
This response is first class!
I totaly agree. First class!!!!
I have been 27 years with a fire brigade in Switzerland.
A lot of the videos you see are in areas like Pa. with a bunch of photographer squirrels... For some reason they like to film the worst FD's...
Impressive method of pulling the supply line and layout of the initial attack preconnect. They should promote this with a video, for other departments; to consider using.
That's actually pretty much standard for a supply line. As far as the preconnect, a triple lay is faster and easier.
Good job to all Thank you 😊
Love every video. Kudos to the brave men and women who protect and serve, and now days respond. Mahalo
Very dutiful and active staff.Their effort is praiseworthy.
Great job guys, straight up kicked ass.......... 👍
I love when I see firefighters hustle.
Specially the weight they have to manage
WOW, THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE FASTEST TIME TO GET WATER ON A FIRE. I BET THAT WAS A GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS MOMENT. I WANT TO LIVE IN THAT TOWN. BRAVO, BRAVO FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fastest time I've seen is 14 seconds by a British truck. Similar setup with external .fire
Excellent training and team work very good job.
Cool first clip, that’s not far from my house, real short response For 3’s they are right there almost across the street

Probably went there to get a cup of coffee and wanted to know if they were open despite the fire.
This guys deserve over 999999+ sub
Ma Sha ALLAH. Good job done.Very trained staff.
These guys are on, man they hussle great job santa rosa
Awesome catches! Love the squeal on the CHP Charger at 5:38 and the SPD CVPI at 10:05!

@@mrlynnwood01 I heard about that! That’s so unfortunate.
Way to go, fellas. It's obvious you train hard.

now that's shoe fast you handle a fire situation, that is an amazing job!!! you don't see that very ,much on youtube!! great job brothers!!
you do see hustle on RUclips, its just people are always quick to jump and call an attack slow which is easy to say from behind a screen
Madison love to 4 you too if
Awesome response. Great teamwork by first engine.
Wow! Amazing work!
I sometimes wonder if they still teach firefighters why SCBA units have waist straps
That is teamwork to make it happen salute to the brave firefighters
verry good job a crew that knows what there doing....
First time seeing these type of Fire figher videos.
I was also really shocked of how slow they drove/got O/S
Respect.
Alright, who was in the bathroom last 😂
strong work dudes......

PART 21? Are you kidding me? I went through 3 parts before my popcorn was ready!!!!
Very good
Fantastic knock down
I was wondering why all the different municipalities were responding to the same fire??? Then I watched the video.
I think the response show is from different fires, since some are day time and others are at night.
@@ricmcgre I thought the night time shots were from GoP cities. Republicans are the party of darkness after all.
Very responsive and efficient.
In my country, they may arrive after 2hrs and not prepared, or they may show up a day after.
Jump cuts at 1:01 and 1:35 make this look way faster than it really was.
Nice video! I don't see too many Pierce Quantums anymore with an aerial!
I agree, Clark County's 18 is probably the only one I see regularly
nice footage man
Awesome catching🤗
The CHFD T23 is the one near me, they respond to slot of medical calls.
And T24 I just checked out for the 9/11 there was a huge event

VERY IMPRESSIVE. WOW
The first video says it all....
Great catch!
Only California has the ridiculous steady red law.
Very nicely done well trained Dept. It never ceases to amaze me there's always some clown has to drive through to be nosey
The first 5 minutes. When I saw those solar panels, I knew this building must be saved! Any building that is capable of generating it's own power deserve all the effort!
my favorite part was when you edited out the enormous amount of time it took for them to get their gear on and put water on the fire.
Is it demonstration or practical fire fighting? All types of Fire Engines were deployed in the contingent. So far I could recognise, these are water tender, Foam Tender, Gas tender
The steady burn reds in Cali are so ugly.
Engine 3 looking good!
I believe that Redding fire station was where Jeremy Stokes worked. He died trying to help when the firenado broke out in 2019.
Impressive!
Keep Back 343 Feet on sacremento Fire truck, love this !!!
I didn’t know American legion posts have ambulances
Nice, this is my county
Happy Labor Day
The ambulance looks like those used in Europe. A fancy minivan
Excellent job by the first due engine crew, stretched and water flowing under a minute. Chief could have cancelled the Box with first engine handling. 👍
Love the Spanish in the beginning lol 😂 she definitely sounds nervous 😬
I know it's a waste of funds.. but that big ass fire truck was satisfying to look at
It's absolutely NOT a waste of funds. You clearly don't know anything about firefighting.
Luckily fire engines responded timely before the fire in cafeteria got bigger
9:57 Absolute classic
That's the first time I have seen the American Legion operate ambulances.
So so many fires could be nipped in the bud just by having fire extinguisher
All fire departments should be this fast at any fire call of any kind.
My dad was a Fireman 27 years and he always loved his job! He didn't want to do anything but help those in our community. My parents house was 2 blocks away from the FIRE STATION
Nice to see some Sonoma county action. Hope to see more

0:37 I saw engine 3 but is that white ambulance for sale it has no sign saying whay unit or what company it is
@erik sand ok
There's fresh coffee and donuts inside. But only if you get the fire out before they get burned up and boiled dry.
Wait, how did it got dark and daylight again?😳
What’s a normal structure fire alarm for you guys? For me , there’s 6-8 chiefs (battalions, chiefs, assistants, deputy’s), 3 to 4 engines 3 to 4 medics 3 to 4 ladders of some sort and usually 1 or 2 squads
For us, well, last company, it was two trucks, four engines, and a rescue engine for RIT. Chiefs in acting capacity at least three.
@@jaysmith1408 that’s cool!!
Che organizzazione colossale
I am guessing that this fire is in Pa, somewhere?
Well executed attack. Had water in the fire in under 2 minutes
Good work but I still don’t understand why US crews use flat lay hose and hose beds.
1:35 The video is clearly edited, so it's not as fast as you think. But still a good operation.
Out of all the Ads has anyone seen a add about SEPT. 11,
What's with the American Legion Ambulance at 11:13?
😮 it got dark already!
Wow great footage you're awesome 🚒🌠🐾🔥♊🦋🐕🥑🐈😇🌲

its a gas station fire, lets all hang out right next to the gas pumps with a fire right next to them... smart..

Did their job and had water on the fire quick. Great !
Jeff, c; they need a truck with a [ turret] up top; quick [ knock down].
Just think, ALL this emergency equipment for a small fire.
I can only imagine what the troops would look like, had the fire been much larger!
8 minutes if this video is B-roll not even associated with the fire, taken on different days and different times.
