Ty so much this helped a lot!! Sorry to ask, but could you do a tutorial on making a chart fast forward like through the song and you don't take damage from the notes. It's like a little preview of the song not sure if you know what I'm talking about.
here's my two cents: so what i'm getting is from this vid, is that you (hopefully) made the hi-speed gimmicks in the chart intentionally as awful and un-sightread-able as it is to purposefully troll the player, right? which is admittedly fine to me when the entire concept of the chart revolves around being so, to indeed troll and mislead the player *on the first attempt* but i just want to put this out there, that it's EXTREMELY (extremely in caps‼️) important to make hi-speed transitions as smooth and predictable as possible to the player, as to not make the player fail/miss a note solely because of a sharp change in the scroll rate. as you can see in the vid, most of them got juked bcs there's a sudden pause or slowdown in the middle of the chart (which is condoned here bcs the entire gimmick of the chart IS to be unpredictable (hopefullyyy💀🙏)). so a better way to implement a hi-speed change in yours charts would to be to 'gradually' change the speed, utilizing multiple hi-speed changes in succession to make it look as if the speed is slowly decelerating. basically what i'm getting at from this random ahh multiparagraph lecture is -- an important part of game design is to make it that whenever a player messes up, it *feels* like the player messes up. instead of a sudden unpredictable speed change that messes up their rhythm. a chart should feel fair to play, so the player could actually have fun and enjoy it. - ok wtf am i doing with my morning rn
Always end up hating community driven rhythm games like this, because every single chart always ends up ONLY being available for basically max difficulty. With this specifically, if you play with your thumbs, have fun not being avle to play like, 95% of the charts! Even if they aren't hard, they'll randomly have three notes appear at the same time.
There’s actually a ton of accessible charts that are non-append if you know where to look ! Chart cyanvas has a level selector in its search that you adjust to find stuff that’s more comfortable to your skill level
Yeah, many charts are unplayable. I try to make my charts as similar to the official ones I can (quality wise) and I try to make the difficulty consistent
I like to move the kick, or bass drum, until it’s aligned with one of the lines Usually depending on the song, you can clearly see a big spike for the kick in the waveform
lost the combo BUT THE AP REMAINS💜
Quite silly chart indead
*indeed
thanks! always wanted to do this :D

Appreciate the feedback and insight !
I actually just straight copied the gimmicks from the DDR chart of the song

Same steps in this video ! But instead of using the hi-speed tool
Use the bpm tool (8 key)
@laoloserr thanks so much!!!!!! :D
bruh
Hii @biriamu
@biriamu Hello
@@AoyagiToya-o1o hi there!
Actually, how do you tune the timing in Solonus?
Like syncing the song ?
Under chart properties, find the music offset and drag it left or right to line up the song’s waveform to the grid
@laoloserr until it feels just right?

@laoloserr i actually forgot to ask this in the last vid about it but, does the charting technology work on mobile?
@ nope
Its a program made for windows
Actually, I tried the chart... Nope, it's too gimmicky
