Alhamdulillah, thankyou so much for sharing it to public before I always bought some lustre dust from the shop, but not sure they're halal or not and so many ol shop sell without the lable, so sometimes I wonder is it really edible 😭 but now, let's try later make by your own
I hope we can not use it in drinks , they will give sparkling at the moment u put in the drinks , but gradually they start swellling by absorbing the drinks , as they are gelatins bits .. I didn’t try but I think so ..
I can't get any of my blenders ( bullet, Ninja blender, and food processor) to make it fine like that. How are you getting g that glitter size.... Anyone?
I’ve been making this for years. What kind of glitter did you add. Or is that just the camera making it look shiny like glitter. Because the hello glitter doesn’t look shiny like glitter when you chop it . Looks like plastic.
Nothing i added, ir no camera technique.. It is what i made.. If u follow exact procedure, u will get exact same and it will look shiny.. but dont make it fine powder which makes it looks dull
There seems to be a few steps missing and obviously done off camera. Gatekeeping a recipie is pointless if sharing, it would be helpful if you show all the steps to prevent failure and false outcomes.

@@BakeOLand yes, that was the issue. I tried again and it took about 2 days to get completely dry, I just blend it yesterday and it's looking great, thank you so much!
I wondered how to get this. Because it's gelatin and looks shiny the light hits it and it looks like it shimmers. So cool
Greetings from Malaysia.

How did your glitter turn out?
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing this!!
Thanks for your feedback
Wow. This looks amazing. If I don't have an electric blender can I use one of those manual wooden spice grinders?
No, u have to use electric grinder as gelatin sheets are plastic like films, which is hard to grind with manual ones
@@BakeOLand I see. Thanks a bunch.
Hi this is so pretty😍. I’ve been looking everywhere to buy edible glitter but it’s too expensive. Can I use regular food coloring?
Yes
How did your glitter turn out?
Wow great recipe..can I make silver glitter by adding white gel or what should be the combination to make silver glitter
Add little white colour to the gelatine mixture then a tint of black to make it grey.. This will work
@@BakeOLand thank u
This is great ! Now I need to make this for a few dozen chocolate covered strawberries 😂. Cuz this amount looks like it's for 2
Thank you...great video...
is the glitter color stable over cakes frosted in water based-creams...would it maybe ooze color....?
Hi, i have never tried on whiping cream, but i hope that it will be ok as long as glitters r applied on last moment
Love this thank you so much for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
this is awesome! can it be spread on parchment paper instead of acetate? or maybe a silicone mat?
Can do , but acetate will give u more shine
Woow.. Incredible
Thank you for sharing your awesome will try it 😊
Hi do I have to acetate sheet or can I substitute? Thnx
Better acetate sheet as it will give extra shine
Can I use this glitter for adding in drinks to give it that shiny effect. If u get me :)
Please answer....!!!!!!
would you be able to add a few drops of vanilla or flavouring to this?
Sure , u can add it to give a flavour
I'm so glad to know now! Thanks 👍😊
Hi what is the proportion of water to gelatine. The glitter is lovely
3 tablespoon Gelatine to 9 tablespoon water
Thank you so much
seems like a 3:1 ratio ( in case you want to make a larger batch)
Masha Allah sisiter u use hot water or normal water
Normal water
can we use normal liquid food color instead of Gel color?
Yes
Fabulous!!!
Fantastic!!
Stupendo. Si può fare pure con la gelatina in fogli? Se si,quale sarebbe la proporzione? grazie in anticipo 😊
Pls read description for the ingredient measurements
Thank you so much for sharing🥹⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Di keringinnya suhu ruang aja ya kak.....ga perlu oven ya...
This is awesome! Is it possible to make gold glitter dust using metallic food coloring?
I think so!
This can be used for cake right ? So, like normal luster dust. Mix with liquid and apply.
Did you try it?
Yes you can
Did you also use silver luster dust??
Hi, can I make this without food colour because I want clear glitter? Will it still shine the same?
I didn’t try that , u just try with out any colour , also another batch with pearl colour
@@BakeOLand Okay, thank you!
Would I be able to make this for cocktails
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Can I heat over stovetop if I don’t have a microwave?
Yea
I live in Vietnam. Tropical climate. How this handle humid weather? Will it get sticky or lose its shine?
It works well.
Hello, does it melt on the whipped cream cake please?
Can you use flavored gelatine?
I wonder if you could combine this method with the special plastic people used to make holographic chocolate and make edible holographic glitter.
Can i use jello strawberry instead of gelatin?
Thanks🙏🏻
U can try , hope it will work.. I don’t tried with jello
These are beautiful 💖
Do they work in drinks to make sparkle?
I hope we can not use it in drinks , they will give sparkling at the moment u put in the drinks , but gradually they start swellling by absorbing the drinks , as they are gelatins bits .. I didn’t try but I think so ..
I’m not understanding So once you tear it and put it in the blender it just turns to glitter?! What made it sparkly ?!
Yes, once gelatine dried, it has transpatent glassy look...so after grinding we will get sparkly dust
@@BakeOLand Ahh okay thank you
Hi! Do I have to use a small blender? I have a big one and the pieces do not turn to glitter
Yes , u have to use smaller type.. best one is a coffee grinder .. but I used small blender
How much gelatin did you use?
Also can parchment paper be used ?
No, needs to be acetate because it's shiny, the shininess will transfer to the gelatine. Baking paper is dull and will make the gelatin dull.
Thank you for the tip i love it
Hi what tablespoon are you referring to? The regular tablespoon we use to eat food or the measuring tablespoon (15 ml)?
Please reply
Table spoon always 15 ml
@@BakeOLand Ok thank youu
Use this in drinks??
Can i also use agartine? I want to bake for a vegetarian.
It works similar, I haven't tried myself. Please try and let me know how it goes 😊
Can we use agar agar powder instead of gelatine
Yes, you can use it but needs to check the proportion.
@@BakeOLand thank you
What gelatine did u use? Is it halal?
YAS QUEEN!!! LOVE THIS!!!
Can we do it with agar agar instead of gelatine
Not yet tried
Other than this kind of sheet what can we use?
If you don't have OHP sheet, you can otherwise use cling wrap or plastic file folder.
@@BakeOLand I have already used butter paper and it worked but anyways thank you so much for tips 😊😊
@@meghnasingh3403 Glad, it came out well.😊
Thankx❤
I can't get any of my blenders ( bullet, Ninja blender, and food processor) to make it fine like that. How are you getting g that glitter size.... Anyone?
Coffee Beans grinder
Thank you so much
Thank you!
How long does this take to dry?
24 hours
Amazing! How long will this keep? And how to proeprly store it? Thanks in advance! 😊
U can keep it in an airtight container and we can keep it months if properly stored
@@BakeOLand Thank you!!!
Does it taste like anything?
Salam, if we want to make small portion instead possible?
Salam, the only concern with very small quantity is to get it powdered in a grinder.
@@BakeOLand oh ok thank you 😊
Superb 😍
Good Idea
How much gelatine to how much water please
3 tablespoon Gelatine to 9 tablespoon water
